Do you think if if use a hard ticket to get into mnsshp around 4, would I be able to book fp+ til 7? Or are fp+ tied to reg tickets, so if we don't swipe in at the gate, would system not recognize or fp+ ?

This have been discussed many times.
But, there does not appear to be an easy answer.

Looks like you can book FP+ using ONLY your MNSSHP for admission between 4PM and 7PM.

BUT, that MNSSHP needs to be linked to your MDE account.

AND IF YOU DO THAT... Make SURE that you stop by Guest Relations at WDW just before you enter for MNSSHP and have them set your MNSSHP ticket to the TOP PRIORITY, so that the entrance gate-scanner will USE the MNSSHP ticket instead of your regular park ticket.

if your MNSSHP is already linked - can you use your paper ticket or hard ticket for entry instead of your MB?

the system automatically linked our tickets when we purchased them online last month.

Yes.

That would solve the "which ticket on the band gets used" situation.

Interesting... I came on here to pose the same thread title with about the same post.

We are going to do Universal this year and MNSSHP. Was wondering whether I should purchase tickets ahead of time, as previously we found it more convenient to purchase just a day or two out to better determine the weather. However, if I can link the party tickets, maybe it would be adventitious to purchase them in advance.

Oh Disney, I turned to Universal because I didn't want to have to deal with FP+, and yet you lure me anyway with your ways.
