MNSSHP and 5:45 ADR for 1900 Fare...

WE booked a dinner at 1900 for 5:45 for the night that we want to go to MNSSHP. Should I leave this ADR as is or will it be too rushed? This was the earliest time I could get

Up to you. Remember, you don't have to be in the Magic Kingdom the instant the party starts.

I recommend getting an ADR in MK and an early one. You can enter the park at 4:00 for the party. We ate at 4:10 at LTT where the characters are in Halloween costumes. We left at about 6:00 just as everyone was clearing out and we could get on many rides with little wait. Remember that 1900 Park Fare will be at the GF Cafe for a while and will not be a buffet -- not sure when it will re-open.

I wouldn't do it.

You can enter the party at 4pm, take advantage of it.

With a 5:45pm ADR, its possible you may not get to the MK until after 7pm. When paying all that money for those tickets, you want to take advantage of all the time you can. I'd try and get an earlier ADR in the park, or stick with CS that night.

You'll probably get to Mk around 7:00p. Not too bad a time if you reallly want to eat at 1900 Park Fare.

It's up to you. I myself prefer eating in MK and to be done by 6:45p but if I really wanted to eat somewhere for whatever reason and the only time I could get was that time, I'd probably keep it. You won't miss much of the party itself.

I have done this and do not recommend eating off park the night of the party. We ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe at 5:00 and then went to the party after. We were very late compared to when we had gone the year before and eaten at The Plaza at 4:00 and were right there ready to get going by 5:00-5:15.

We did so much that first year getting the early start and the year we ate at the Grand Floridian got there around 6:30- 7:00 was nothing but long lines and frustration.

We've never done it again for either MNSSHP or MVMCP. I personally think the best "ride" time is between park closing and party opening time. We get there promptly at 4:00, eat somewhere, this October it's The Plaza, and are ready to go by 5:00. Then we grab a snack or something later during the parade.

The first parade was at 8:15p last year.

The meal probably takes about an hour. Be sure to get there early to increase your chances of being seated on time. LTT is a zoo on party nights.

Thanks Everyone! I was able to change my ADR to 4:30 at 1900. I feel much better with this time. Since we have a park pass for this day the early admin. doesn't matter to much to us, but with this new time we will still be able to be at the party well before 7!!!!

Congrats! That sounds great! You'll probably be done by 5:30p and be inside MK by 6:00p at the latest.
