MNSSHP-9/15 Should we go?

One more question-if you want to get in before 7 then will I have to use a regular ticket or will the MNSSHP ticket be good at 4:00? I'm assuming it won't be but I just want to clarify.

You will NOT need admission into the park. The MNSShp ticket is all you need to enter the park after 4:00. At least this is how it has been the last few years.

I am glad to see people going, I was starting to have a fear that because it is so early in the season my DBF and I would be the only one's there on the 15th!

I guess we'll see you all there on the 15th. I can't wait. As to costumes, I'm not worried about bringing on for DD6 as we always bring one or two princess costumes anyway. As for my DM and myself, I'll have to think of something that is comfortable, not too warm, and goes with our Crocs. Thanks for all the input.

By all means buy your tickets! It's worth every penny! The web site calendar is wrong, and it takes a while for them to update it! MNSSHP is a great thing to be at! Been there 3x already, different years, and loved it everytime- by the way- no children under 22 with us at the time---but everyone loved it....saw lots of families having the time of their lives! Going again this year on October 27....we're DVC owners...taking my two older sisters(going on 60 and the other 57), one sisters son and daughter-the daughter's husband and our two grandnephews -8 and 2 years old...can't wait to be there with the little ones! We had such fun as adults....with the kids it'll be twice as much fun!

Bought my tix on Saturday! Also I was lucky to get one of the few remaining (early?) ADR for LTT. There were only 3 available-2 @ 4:05, and 1 @ 4:10. The CM I booked with was surprised there was nothing else available. I jumped on the 4:10. See you all there-thanks for all the great comments!

DD, DGD and I will be there on 9/15 too!! When I called on 6/12, CM told me only 4:05 available for LTT. I just called back and asked the CM to check again. She told me the same thing, only 4:05 available. But i asked her to check if there was another screen to check for special events. She found it, and I was able to get 5:10!! Some of the CM's don't know that there is another screen for them to check for ADR's for special events.

Thanks Karin-I'll try to call tomorrow and see if I can get a little bit later. I'm concerned about getting to LTT by 4:10 if we don't spend the day at MK (And we don't plan on it.) I'll mention the special events screen.

Ok-I just got off the phone with Dining and told them to check special events-lo and behold-5:55 was available! I took that and cancelled 4:10. The CM I spoke to said the first CM should have known to check it (especially since she was the one I got the MNSSHP tix from) Anyway, now we're all set for 5:55 and hopefully will be done before official start at 7. Thanks again Karin

Oh, and I booked Park Faire for DD 7th birthday breakfast on the 19th, Kona for dinner, HBD for dinner, RC for dinner-and Illuminations, and CG for dinner (now they take credit card guarantee-24 hr. cancellation reqd or we'll be charged $20 each-$60!)

This is in addition to ADRs I already have-PF for dinner, 50's PT for dinner, SAI for lunch, and LC for dinner. I don't think we'll be hungry!
