MNSSHP 2023 Dates

Hi y'all,

We're kind of forced to make a decision now about an August trip to WDW - we only need to make a yes/no decision now, dates can be decided later (around May).

The only reason we're considering a WDW trip is to attend MNSSHP so if the dates don't work, we're not going to go.

Here's where I need help, in order to make a decision, I need to assess the likelihood of there being a party during the days we would potentially be there. Here are some questions, I hope y'all can help me with.

When do they normally announce the MNSSHP dates? Is it usually before the end of May?
Dates started on August 12th last year, with Tuesday and Friday dates in August from then on. Does the community think the schedule will be similar this year, and start around the same time (Friday, August 11, 2023)?
We must fly back no later than August 19, 2023 - what is the likelihood that there would NOT be a party before then?

I know this is all speculation, but I'd love to know your opinions on those 3 questions.

Honestly, there's no guarantee when anything will happen. My best guess is yes, there would be at least one party before Aug 19, 2023 but it's only an guess and nobody really knows. If you HAVE to attend a party in order to book your trip then personally, if it's that important and a make it or break it, I would not book based on speculation. But, that's me. One single aspect of a trip is not a make it or break it for us but each family is different.

In terms of make-or-break, I mean, who doesn't want a trip to WDW, so while it might be a bit of a disappointment, it wouldn't be the end of the world if there wasn't a party, we'd still be at WDW after all.

I'm just trying to make a fairly educated decision based on the speculation since the goal of the vacation is the party, and if it's less than around 75% probable, then we would probably hold off.

Thanks for the clarification. I would do a search for historical Official MNSSHP threads on the main Theme Parks Board. The first post of each of those threads will list party dates to help you make an educated decision.
