MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

I'm getting mixed reviews and don't know whether to shell out the cash or not. We could go on either the 25th or 26th. Could only get advanced tix for the 25th. Does that mean the 26th will be harder to get tix when they finally go on sale?

Will one day be busier than another?

How do they get everyone out of the park that doesn't have a ticket (I know, slightly off topic but I'm curious).

The last 4 years, we've gone on either the 30th or the 31st of Oct. Well, my son's older now and doesn't want to miss his school Halloween party, so we're going down on the 1st. How busy will the party on the second be? We're used to the crowds on the 31st... but do I need to worry about the tickets selling out for the November party? Thanks!

I love going to the last party of the year! Low crowds and they give ALOT of extra candy. I have friends that want to go this year on the 30th(Tuesday) what are the crowds like for that? Otherwise they were gonna go on that Sunday Oct 28th. Which would you pick?

1. Tickets for all dates should be on sale. Don't know why you can't access them for the 26th. :confused3

2. Thursday might be a little less crowded than Friday. That close to Halloween, tough to tell.

3. You get a wristband with your MNSSHP ticket. Anyone without a wristband is pointed towards the exit starting at 7:00p. Checkpoints and sweeps by CMs are employed to catch those not supposed to be there.

We went on the 30th last year and I thought crowds were super low. By 11pm the park was almost empty. It did start to lightly rain right about then but nothing major. We had no issues and never had to wait in line for candy or any rides.

We bought our tickets for October 4th. We printed them out on our printer. My question for anyone who can give me an answer, do we have to have another ticket? Like a hard official Disney ticket, or will the print out from our printer be okay? P.S. I would much rather have a hard ticket, so does anyone know where or how I can acquire them?
Thanks so much!

Not sure if anyone answered this for you, but the print out is fine. We've used them for the MVMCP the past 2x we've gone with no problem.

I haven't been to MNSSHP since 2010. Can anyone tell me if the quality of candy has improved since then? We barely got any chocolate (maybe 5 pieces for our group of 9 :sad2:) when we went. Also, do they still distribute bags for candy collection at the extrance of the park? If so, what time do they start? Do you get one when they place a party wristband on you?

A printed ticket will grant you admission, yes. If you want to arrive early for MNSSHP/MVMCP at 4:00p though, you will not be able to use it to access FastPass kiosks while in the park. This is only a concern if you intend to use FPs for the hours of 4:00p to 7:00p, since FPs are not utilized during the parties.

Quality of candy was fine with us last year. They still give you bags, and they give them to you when you get your wristband. Historically this is possible as early as 4:00p.

Sorry if this is already somewhere on this thread but....we have tickets for Oct. 26. We're gong for long weekend and arrive on the 26th around 11a. Do not have park tickets for that day just MNSSHP..we're staying at WL. I've read and heard varying answers as to when we can get into the park if we have tikts only for the event. I know it starts at 7p, but heard you can get in up to 3 hrs earlier. We have 2:10 ressies at WC..what time do you think we should head over to MK?

Also...DS LOVES villians and this trip is for MNSSHP. We arrive on Fri 10/26 and leave Monday. MNSSHP is Fri & Sun that weekend. I have tkts for Fri. If after Friday DS decides he wants to go to MNSSHP again on Sunday, what do you think chances are of tkts being available for us to buy on Sat 10/27 for Sun 10/28?

Thanks!

Just received our tickets in the mail for oct. 30. We had to pay $5 for shipping. The girls are going to be Merida and Tinkerbell. I hope we can get in early since we're not going to any other parks that day.

Hi
We will be going to Disney World Oct. 21-24. We are hoping to attend the party on Oct. 21 and 23rd and I already have dinner res. for Cinderella's castle on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. and we will be in the park all day that day. My questions are:
1. Do you think these dates will sell out quickly? (as I will not be able to purchase tickets for a couple of weeks yet)
2. Do the party wristbands look different from night to night?
3. Has anyone ate a Cindy's castle? How long does it usually take?

So super excited!!! :stitch: This will be our first time and will be a birthday present for both of my sons. One will be 7 on Oct. 27 and the other will be 5 on Nov. 6.
Thanks in advance for any help :)

Just to clarify, if I purchase my MNSSHP tix at my resort, they can still be used in the FP machines, right? Or do you have to have a regular ticket to access FP?

If you have a 7 PM ADR for the night of a party, you have to have a party ticket. They don't do 7 PM ADRs for the general public...at least that is what I was told.

So this will be our first MNSSHP on Thurs Oct 11th. Will it be extremely crowded or do you think we will be able to stroll around the park and take character pics/get candy when we come to them without rushing? I have no idea what to expect but i'm pretty excited :cool1:

We will be there that night too! It's our dd8's 9th birthday! It's also our first time at MNSSHP. We are super excited! Have fun!

I would so not have a table service meal during party time. CRT is expensive enough without having it cost more by paying an additional $12/pp/hour (the cost of the party) to eat there.

Those tickets should be fine. :thumbsup2
