MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

Just called Disney to buy tickets for Sept. 25th and was told that the dates weren't loaded into the system and to try again later!:confused3

I just did the same thing for the same day and was told the same thing. She tried to explain it but basically just told me to call back around 1pm today.

So glad these became available now - it'll be right under the gun for the 3 month 5% back benefit on the new Disney Rewards card!!

This is great news! The kids don't know and won't till we get through security at the airport.

When calling would a CM know what days are about to sell-out? We are still firming up plans and wanted to wait for a couple of months before firming up a date.

Are you calling for Halloween tickets or Christmas tickets? What # did you call? I called 407 W DISNEY and had no trouble at all.:confused3

I think someone mentioned that they might be adding weekend dates first and then programming weekdays.... the DISers are just too fast for them! The CM I talked to regarding MNSSHP tickets for Sept 25th told me to call back around 1pm. So they're in the system, but not selectable for the CMs yet.

Well I finally got fed up of waiting for Disney to get the tickets up online and rang the number someone posted earlier which was different to the one I had rang earlier, got through in 5 minutes and was able to order 3 tickets for 30th September and 3 for 5th October.

Apparently 30th September also does not qualify for advance ticket pricing ? Anyway for the sake of $30 I wasn't going to argue because we planned out trip around these two dates being the party (reservations at Liberty Tree and Crystal Palace) and I figure when the website comes up, if the amounts contradict what I was charged/told then I can sort it with them knowing I have the tickets already.

Bizarrely I had to insist on will call pick up option (I live in England and was told there would be a $60 postal charge??) as was initially told they don't recommend it this far out (?).

Got my confirmation number (again, told they apparently aren't sending emails out this early?) and picking up at one of the parks.

Anyway, sorted now.

Got our tickets for the first party!!!!! We are super duper excited!!!!!!!:dance3:

Just got our tickets for Oct. 31st!!!! :) The CM I spoke to was really fun, and I love hearing "Have a Magical, Magical Day!"

Thanks for posting the info for everyone.

That's the number I called!(MNSSHP) Guess I'll just try back later but, I would hope that the date doesn't sell out!:worried:

When the automatic voice asks what are you calling for just say "EVENT TICKETS" .....and it gets you right through. It all took less then a minute from call to transfer to get where i needed to be. hope this helps.

Yay! Just purchased our tickets. OK so it's official now...31st here we come! Again!

Now that priority #1 ^ of this vacation has been dominated, I'm off to book accomodations and get my ADRs in order. Hahahahaha!

I called this morning and after waiting a bit for the CM to find me the AP
price bought ours tickets for 10/16 :cool1:

I just bought 6 tickets (DVC Discount) for 10/18/12 at a cost of $345.85 (includes taxes). Yikes! :scared1: Definitely not cheap. I REALLY hope it doesn't rain that night. I just wanted to make sure we got tickets and I did not want to risk them selling out on the day we planned on going. Plus, we saved some money by pre-buying with the DVC Discount. We have gone to the Halloween Party 3 previous times and it rained on one of them - pretty miserable I must say. Alot of the rides were shut down. The girls had to wear raincoats which covered up their costumes - much to her displeasure. It was hard to see the parade while trying to maintain some sense of dryness under store awnings and my youngest daughter (who was only 3 at the time) slipped off a stool in her costume, dropped her ice cream cone and scared herself pretty badly. However, several CMs were at her side in less than 5 seconds. They keep asking us if we wanted her to be seen by a doctor but she wasn't hurt - just scared. They gave her another FREE ice cream cone and were just wonderful trying to make sure she was OK. Where else but at Disney would people go to that much trouble - Gotta LOVE Disney. I guess I will start praying to the Rain Gods to keep the rain away on 10/18/12.:worship:

Does the military service member have to go the party or just buy the tickets? We will be down there with my mom and dad, but they don't want to go to the party....so it will just be me, dh and kids. can he just buy us the tickets?
