Hello!

We're going to be on our honeymoon at WDW between 12-19 Sept 11, and I read somewhere that MNSSHP starts on the 14th. Can anyone tell me what sort of things will be going on in this week? Are there special parades and things? I'm so excited as I love Halloween :D :cloud9:

Been three times and we love it. The parade is worth the $$$ on it's own imho - you will find a good clip of it on youtube. it starts with the headless horseman, has various baddies from Disney films, lots of characters from the haunted mansion ride etc. some great special effects too, love the grave diggers.

The spooky fireworks are also amazing.

In addition to the two parades (they are identical) and the fireworks you get a trick or treat bag when you go in. My kids never have to bring back sweets for their classmates ;)

Also, there are various different characters out - last year we saw all seven dwarves and also the Wicked Queen who offered DD a bite out of her apple for the photo. Every year Cinderella's coach is out surrounded by pumpkins for a picture opportunity.

We always go near Halloween and the crowds are massive but most reports for September are that the rides are easy to get on due to the crowds.

When we went mid-October very few adults were in fancy dress but near Halloween you get loads.

If you have any specific questions let me know :goodvibes:

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special event so seperate tickets are required.

Not seen any dates released for this year yet, I think it will be late this month or into next month before they are out.

Last years dates and info here

Prices also on there from $54-65 + tax.

There are other events also, Seaworld, Universal & Busch Gardens all do something for Halloween. Universal is more intense if you like that sort of thing.

Ooo thanks for this guys, it looks amazing! I really hope it's on when we're there, I'm even more excited now!!!!
:cool1:

Judging by the MK park hours it looks like the first MNSSHP is on the Tuesday 13th September followed by Friday 16th. It does have to be confirmed though.

Dates not released yet but look at opening times you can usually work out the dates.

Adult tickets last year were from $57.50(incl tax) so probably $60+ this year. Could be discounts for booking online or AP's.

MNSSHP was one of the highlights of our last trip!!

Definitely get tickets!

A tip a lot of people don't know is that you can arrive at the party from 4pm onwards, do this as it can be really quiet, as party guests don't show up unitl 7pm like it says on their ticket, but day guests know the party is on so tend to leave after the parade.

Some dates are $5 or so cheaper if you pre book - non premium dates.

We did a Tues MNSSHP last week of Oct 2010 and it was $55 each I think.

tickets usually go on slae may time - it will be posted on here i'm sure :thumbsup2
