My DW and I will be there on the 24th. We are hitting CRT at 5:20 and then will be scouting out a good place to watch the parade after dinner.

FYI I ate at the castle last year before MVMCP and our ADR was at 5:40p. We were done by 6:45p and had Fantasyland to ourselves! My girls rode Dumbo and the carousel by themselves. The parade isn't until approx 8:30p so you'll have about an hour and a half before the parade. The first parade is pretty crowded but maybe you could do a couple of rides in Fantasyland before it gets crowded and before you find a spot for the parade. :wave2:

Just a thought! Have fun!

Oh great!! I was considering an LTT ADR, but decided against it. We'll probably eat before we go and then have a snack there like last year. Maybe we can set up a 10/24 "Hi-By"(like a Drive-by only where you just say hi really quick so everyone can continue doing whatever they were doing).

We have tickets to MNSSHP for Oct. 17th and LTT at 4:30...should we wear our costumes or bring them with us? are there lockers available?
Also, If anyone else is going to be there on the 17th we'd love to do a mini dis meeting! anyone up for that?

Me too, me too - my future husband and I will be at the party on the 24th!! :tigger: :tigger:

Now I just need to convince him to wear some kind of costume this year. We went in 2004 and he wouldn't wear a costume so I just wore a halloween shirt.

Can't wait to go!!!!

we are going 15th september and 22nd september anybody else?

DH and I will be there on the 15th. We extended our trip by one night so that we can attend. It sounds like so much fun. How lucky you are - two parties!

My tickets arrived today!! :cool1:

I ordered them Friday night.

I'm bummed that they are not characters this year but they are Happiest Celebration on Earth tickets. I got 2 AK ones, one Light motors action stunt show/MGM Studios, and one Soarin/Epcot.

Just an FYI...The included letter only mentions that included with ticket is entrance (at time on back of ticket; 7:00p - Midnight) into MK and trick or treating; no mention of the free photo, parade or fireworks. It also lists a costume NOT list.

I'm just happy I got them!!

We will be going September 22!! Just look for a Jedi Knight or a Sith Lord... I am undecided... should I turn to the dark side... hmmmm. :darth:

I received mine 2 days ago too! Bummer, looks like the free photo is a thing of the past.

Oh well, will still have lots of fun and take more of our own pictures. Let's hope they turn out good.

What is on the costume NOT list?

MNSSHP, what do you do that is different than visiting the park nomaly? Does everyone dress up? We really are not into the Halloween thing, will we feel out of place? Other than Disney setting a limit to the number of people who have a ticket and getting to ride attractions with limited crowds, can someone tell me what exactly is diffrent? Trying to decide if it is worth attending.

Thanks!!

I agree it's a bummer if they don't offer the picture anymore. Has anyone called to find out if it's not included? We sent it as our Christmas card in 2004 and got lots of compliments, except for my BIL who thought it was not appropriate to use a Halloween picture at Christmas time and continues to remind of this to this day. We're going to MNSSHP this October with him (and my sister and their 4 kids) and I planned on teasing him from Halloween till Christmas about sending our souveneir picture again!

my first lot of tickets for the 15th cam on wednesday, still waiting for the ones for the 22nd,

I have no clue what to go as, though I do know my neices want to be witches, (on halloween here people dress as witches wizards etc not princesses)

I am having their dresses made for them, just need to get them to stand still long enough to get measured up

They are also booked into bibbidi bobbidi boutique, for their hair and make up before lol

Now my costume, I have no idea what to wear, no idea at all,

Also just how many sweets get handed out will I need a zip up bag to arry them on the rides?

that will really be a shame if the free photo is not included....I love going and we'll continue to go but how much more can they up the price, take things away and still expect a great party?

and about the candy - I bet that's all donated don't ya think?

Nothing offensive, no weapons that look real, nothing that drags, or obstucts your view or your ability to be loaded on and off rides, and no sharp or pointed objects.

The park is COMPLETELY transformed and it's the only time and place to see Halloween decorations and hear Halloween music. It's amazing. There's another thread going with MNSSHP pictures.

There's trick or treating everywhere. There's the Halloween parade (headless horseman too) and Hallowishes fireworks. There the characters around in their Halloween costumes. They had a Villian show at the Castle stage.

That's off the top of my head.

The number is 407-WDW-STYLE (939-7895) but I'm sure concierge could book it for you. They can do anything, can't they? :teeth:

I have what probably amounts to a silly question but....WHY more then one? :confused3 I figured it was probably candy the first one and the 2nd one for just fun. Helen

I read MK closes for an hour before th eparty? If you have tix, can you enter at any time? Thanks!
