MNSSHP 2006, Ready to start planning!

When you look at the MK calendar on the WDW website, the park closes at 6:00 on several days. Now, I can't imagine the park closing at 6:00 unless there is a party scheduled. I know things are always subject to change, but I think that's a pretty good indicator that those are MNSSHP nights. Am I wrong?

I just called the disney booking/info line to try and get any new info. Do you know what the cast member told me??????????????????? He actually had the nerve to tell me that the tickets/dates wouldnt be on sale or released until JULY OR AUGUST!!!!!! (this is not what I wanted to hear, ok) I nearly dropped the phone. Either he was really new or I dialed the wrong number. Help!!!!! And, just to make sure, what number am I suppose to be calling. I thought I had the right number.

Your guy is/was way out of the loop, that is to say unless Disney is changing their ways.

Just call the 1-407-934-7639 (407-w-disney) to get your tickets when they go on sale.

Do they really sell out that fast? The only nights I have heard of selling out is Halloween week.
I've gone the past few years and always bought them last minute, never had a problem.

No, they don't sell out that fast. I don't think Halloween night sold out until August the past couple of years.

Don't know but last year they went on sale April 30 so hopefully soon.

Last year was the first year they offered AP discounts on certain nights and charged more for Halloween night.

2005 Prices:

Advance Sale: Adult - $37.23 -- Children (3-9) - $29.77
($3 shipping and handling)

Guests attending the party on October 31 will be charged more.
October 31 & "Day Of": Adult - $42.55 -- Children (3-9) - $35.10

Annual Passholder Discounts are available for;
September 30 & October 2, 6, 20, 23 & 25
Adult - $31.90 -- Children (3-9) - $25.51
(Limit 4 tickets per Passholder.)

It is per order and if you want to pick them up at WDW window, there is no shipping charge.

I'm so excited! DH and I just decided to go to WDW yesterday. Soon after we booked it I remembered MNSSHP and how much fun we had last year!!

There is so much planning to do! I can't decide whether to make new costumes or wear the same as last year.

we are cruising on the halloween wonder!! I talked to our TA today, and she asked if we planned on attending mnsshp...i hadn't given it too much thought until she asked...but after thinking about it...YES!! we are going!! I guess we'll have to go on oct 27th. Will this be a really crowded nite to go? i assume it will be, but is it so crazy that we won't enjoy ourselves??

I was wondering about the goody bags that they give out at WDW...I assume they are the small plastic variety? will they let you bring your own in? I was thinking of having the kids decorate a pillow case with Disney stuff or glow in the dark paint and puting handles on. what do you think?

The bag that they gave out 2 years ago was a small orange plastic bag with a pumpkin face on it. My dd brought her own plastic pumpkin in to use with no problems.
