We're just going for the Columbus Day weekend. I was hoping there would be a MNSSHP on Sunday 10/8, but it looks like we'll be going on the 6th instead

This October will be our first MNSSHP party. We will have to attend Oct 30th or 31st. I've read that some days sell out quickly. I'm sure these will be very popular dates. Anyone who has attended on these dates, are they sold out quickly like breakfast at Cinderalla's Royal Table or just within a day or two?

I think Halloween night normally sells out in early August. I wouldn't wait that long to purchase the tickets, just in case, but you don't need to get them the day they go on sale or anything either.

when I factor is everything else it looks like halloween night will be the best night for us to do MNSSHP! yikes! do they sell more tickets for that night... for some reason I've got the impression that that night is busiest despite the nights running up to it being sell outs too

we're gonna be knackered the first few days of our hol! a midnight end at Epcot, then 2am over at Islands of Adventure (!), 8pm finish at seaworld, 10pm finish at MGM, midnight halloween at the MK!!!

thankfully we have another week in the parks after that and then the 3 day cruise

I found the dates listed on this site for MNSSHP and it lists the first date as Friday, September 29th. We're trying to get a group going and someone was told there would not be one scheduled in September. What does everyone think? I know the park closes at 6pm and I'm at a loss for what other purpose there would be for the early closure. Of course WDW could change their hours. Is there anyone in the know?

10/5 the MK is to close at 6pm but it also says it's an EMH's day. Does that mean it will open early? Obviously it won't stay open extra hours if the MNSSHP is going on. So, is it meant to say it will open earlier in the a.m.?

10/5 is a morning EMH, so the park will have EMH from 8:00-9:00 am that day, and close at 6:00 pm for the party.

Just FYI, the list of MNSSHP dates also did not include the 12th, 19th, or 20th. However, WDW is showing the same 6:00 MK closing on those nights as on the other party nights. They also fit the 'pattern' of party nights this year. So, making another educated guess, there should be MNSSHP on those nights as well. (I did include them in my orginal posted dates without an explanation, so I thought I should offer one now, just in case anyone else gets the list from DU.)

Any idea why this site doesn't include those dates as party nights? I see on the disney website Magic Kingdom times say they are closing at 6 those nights......so....what's up with these dates? We'll miss the party if they don't have it on the 12th Need to know for sure or we might have to come a day early.

I don't have confirmation on those dates yet, so most likely neither does the DIS or anyone else. There will probably be parties those nights, as I said, no confirmation on that yet.

We too are shooting for the 12th, and if it doesnt happen we wont be able to to go. We already bought tickets about a month ago for the Hooptie Doo for the 10th, plus thats our anniversary. Ugghhhhh!!!

O.K. I am so confused. I just called Disney for the dates of MNSSHP and they gave me these....

October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31.

This site says there is one on September 29. So I asked her if this means there is none in September. She argued with me (in a nice tone ) that "Mam, Halloween is in October so we will never have the party in September." I tried to ask her about September 29 since I saw it listed here. She just kept telling me it must have been October 29 because Halloween is in October...DUH!!!

So, what do you think? I thought the party has been held before on one of the last days of September, am I wrong about that?

Sorry I just had a chuckle...I liked your DUH!!! like you wouldn't know Halloween is in Oct..Christmas is in Dec and New Years day is in January,....CM's can be sooooo funny sometimes! If you called back you might even get a totally different response.

when will the dates be offical ... we are thinking about a trip (Sept. 27-Oct. 1) and really want to do MNSSHP ... the 29 would be our only hope.

I would feel very safe in betting that the nights MK closes at 6:00 are the MNSSHP dates. Why else would they close at 6:00 during regular season? Here are the dates that I found right her on the DIS:
