MNSS Halloween Party tickets

Hi everyone! We're planning on heading down to WDW in Oct. of 2016 and want to do MNSSHP. Does anyone know if you need to purchase a theme park admission ticket for that day or can you just purchase a ticket for the event and be allowed entrance to the park for the event? We're planning on flying to Orlando in the morning and by the time we do transfers, get our room, etc. we'd probably just have time left for the party that night.

You can just purchase the party ticket and enter the park as early as 4pm, just on your party ticket. *That is subject to change next year though* Your party ticket also enables you to make FP+ reservations from 4pm-6:30pm on that day. *That is also subject to change next year*
