MMVCP Tickets OUTSIDE the gates?

We're going to be at WDW in November when their are several party nights. We decided to not get tickets for a party due to cost, but are still keeping our options.... I seem to think I read somewhere that there are people selling tickets out in front of the gate or TTC the day of because their plans changed. I can't track this info down again and am wondering if anyone has experience with this? I know not to purchase from Craigslist, etc. But if someone has some legit tickets for $20 or so, maybe we do it. Any experience or thoughts would be great. Does this happen? Avoid at all costs? Good idea? Don't even bother? TIA

I'd say don't bother be carful because being scammed can make your magical vacation horrible.

If you have last minute thought about attending just buy them through my Disney experience app

Whatever I had read said something about tickets for $20 or something like it so much cheaper than face value, but certainly don't want to take any chances. I definitely don't want to get scammed just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

While it is legal to resell a new, unused WDW ticket... guests are not allowed to do so on-property.
