I love breakfast foods ( though not neccesarily at breakfast time ;) )

What are your favourite breakfast foods?

and in case youre looking for more recipes for breakfast, this was posted at another site and has some very yummy recipes!

I love the original breakfast: Eggs, toast with jelly, waffles / pancakes, and toast! :)

(Now I think I may make BREAKFAST for DINNER tonight!) :rotfl:

I could eat breakfast foods all day long, they're my favorite.

I love blueberry pancakes - with real blueberries of course. :)

My son made whole wheat cinnamon rolls this weekend. It was Prairie Gold Wheat, so they didn't have a strong dark flavor. They were to die for. (They had regular sugar and cinnamon rolled in, and powdered sugar icing...not exactly health food, but my husband who is diabetic can eat them if we use the whole wheat!)

I love eggs! Over easy, scrambled, hard fried, hard boiled, omelette. mmmmmm I also like bacon, sausage, sausage gravy over biscuits, pancakes, French toast, scrapple (are you seeing this, Papa Deuce? :rotfl2: ), waffles... you name it. I love breakfast foods.

Do any of you ever make breakfast foods for dinner? My kids are such putzes. They get really upset when I try to do that.

I Love breakfast foods! I especially love Ham. I like a good piece of a country ham, and put it on the griddle. I also love Fluffy, fruit covered pancakes. Do Funnel Cakes count? ;) Funnel cakes are good for all occasions! Right? :rotfl: I also like Sausage links.

oh yeah I make all kinds of breakfast foods for dinner. My kids love it though.

My mom used to make waffles in the summer when it was too hot to cook anything else. She would top it with fresh fruit and vanilla ice cream :) YUM!

French Toast! Pancakes (ate 17 cooked over a campfire once when I was like 5)! Belgian Waffles! Anything I can douse in maple syrup.

My favorite breakfast food would be homemade french toast, using a nice, crusty bread and real maple syrup. mmm.... I could eat that anytime.

Scrambled eggs made with a bit of milk and mixed in the blender for about 10 seconds with some worcheshire sauce for a bit of zing. Heated in a fry pan with melted butter. Turn ocassionaly for really fluffy eggs. A side of bacon or sausage. Home fries on the side made from baked potatos chopped up with onions, green and red peppers also fried in butter. Also side of toast with fresh creamy butter. Also to help wash it down a big glass of milk or juice. One of my favorite dinners, even though it is a bit high in the cholostrol department(sp) :teeth:

Kids eat free at Denny's on tuesday and saturday nights.

Sometimes we go there and get breakfast for dinner...so yummy!

I love all breakfast foods too! Anything, pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs made any way, hashbrowns, cinnamon rolls, donuts, fresh oj all of it! Not so crazy about meat for breakfast though. Dh is going to be out of town the weekend after next and I'm going to make breakfast for dinner while he's gone! (he doesn't like breakfast for dinner  )

I love any breakfast bread. Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, Bagels, Muffins, Danish, Donuts. Gimme carbs!

I don't eat eggs and don't really eat meat either.

Ham and eggs, hashbrowns, toast or biscuits and gravy. :sunny:

Fresh, crispy bacon and a croissant- or maybe french toast and cut up fruit! Or some eggs and toast; with iced tea or milk (maybe fruit juice!).

I think I'm the only person who doesn't go for "breakfast foods". I rarely eat bacon, eggs, sausage or the like. If I eat eggs, it's in cookie dough. :lmao: Though I do make deviled eggs sometimes or egg salad. I eat cereal probably once a year, so I don't buy it unless it's Rice Krispies to make Rice Krispie treats. I'm not a "bread" person, so I rarely eat donuts, bagels, croissants, danish, etc.

So what do I eat for breakfast? Pretty much anything else, lol. Salads, pasta, tuna salad, egg salad, roast beef sandwich, other deli sandwiches, etc. I really grossed out my co-workers one day when I brought leftover sushi in for breakfast. :teeth:

Kimya

I usually have a can of chicken or pizza or pasta or something like that for breakfast, I can't stand cereals or pancakes, eggs etc.
