Good Saturday Morning MM Warriors!
It's cold and dreary here too. I've wanted some sunny days in the 60's to enjoy working outside, but as usual we went from mid 70's to 40's overnite. Suppose to freeze tonite so have to get out and move my plants. My yellow hibiscus and buttercups are still blooming, been covering them at nite to keep them going as long as possible, but 30 requires more protection. Have to get some pretty indoor plants. Hate winter without pretty flowers!
Been MIA for awhile. Tried to keep up with everybody but haven't had time to post. So very sorry for all the illness, been saying prayers for everyone. Seems like everytime I get down, I come here and realize my problems are very minor compared to the things some of you are dealing with.
Sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and didn't stray too far off plan. I did OK as far as food, but have messed up big time with the timing for the past month or so. Got so busy that I forgot to eat, haven't had any problem craving carbs - just not eating regularly. Haven't gained, just know I've messed up my L&P.
I have to get myself re-focused and go back to Step 1 for at least a month.
Got to get serious, I have a couple of events coming that I want to look presentable for. My dear SIL is retiring from the AirForce and has planned his retirement party for March 16, also their 19th anniversary. So we will be going to OK City - so excited. Also, my 45th class reunion is in May, the weekend of my birthday, so that would be fun. Really want to go this year, skipped the last 2 - didn't want anyone to see me. Seems like every reunion there are more names on the "In Memory of" page, I really need to go this year.
This is such a busy, emotional time of year, I think we all need to take a deep breath and stay the course at least through the holidays.
If you are really bummed, try increasing the amount of lean protein (poultry & fish) and green veggies, reduce the amt of cheese, nuts, etc and beef, choose the lowest carbs (step 2) for a couple of weeks to see if you can "kick-start" the losses before Christmas.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Take care and God Bless you all.
