MM Photographers at the golf courses?

The GoPro idea is amazing!!! We are planning to pick one up for our trip. Funny thing is I'm playing in a charity outing on Thursday, so looks like I will be speeding up the date of our purchase so I can play with the angles then.

Well, a 77 on 9 (three really bad holes, including one lost ball, and 6 pretty good ones) was good enough today for a third place finish. It's amazing how one little medallion can wipe away 3 over-10-stroke holes!! LOL. But of it works for her, it works for me! I'm just glad to see her playing and having fun.

But where are you going to put all of those medallion's lol. Congrats on a successful early morning tee off. Great training for possible vampire golf lol.

LOVE the GoPro on the cart idea!!! Our ski videos this year were just amazing; don't know why I haven't thought to take it golfing! I'm already plotting to take it along on BTMRR, Everest, and 7DMT next trip ;)

We have some pretty interesting golfing shots (and some epic fails) plus started looking at our swings to actually try some self coaching (see more below on that). Lots of places to mount the GoPro on a cart, just remember Oak Trail is a walking course. Should be able to figure out a way to get it on a pull cart though. As for the rides, are you thinking "Chesty" or "Headmaster". My lads have been debating what the best way would be. (And don't even know if it is allowed, but hey all they can do is say no right?)

I agree the GoPro is the way to go these days. I just wish I had got into the IPO (my lads have been on my case about this for almost two weeks now) lol. Hey, I don't know if the US Best Buy (assuming you are in the States, sorry if not) has the same or similar deals but here in Canada, they have a bunch of bundled GoPro deals going on. If you are a wheeler dealer try to get them to throw in a bag of mounts/vices/clamps/straps (or whatever they have lying around in the back) as well. And you didn't ask, but I can't help myself, at a minimum I recommend getting a head mount and chest mount (Chesty). A spare battery is never a bad idea either. And when all else fails, as a Canadian this comes second nature, duct tape works (make sure you have something to cut with though that doesn't get confiscated at airport security lol).

And for both of you, if you can afford it, with a second GoPro you can get a case that lets you "shoot" in 3D. Actually, I got it so we can get two angle shots/footage and for golf a side view and front/back view is pretty helpful, but the boys have ordered the 3D thingy lol. Once you figure out the remote control a dual set up is pretty cool.

Cheers from your babbling WDW golf guy!

Not babbling at all, that is some great advice! And lol on the duct tape, my wife laughs at me frequently for making that my be-all-end-all solution to everything.

Yup, duct tape solves all! Might not be pretty, but sometimes all you need is for "it" to work lol.

And if you get to try out the GoPro at your charity event, let us know how it works out.

Cheers!

They don't have the white in stock and is trying to upsell me on the Black. Funny thing was as he was looking in the back I was on the MDE app and he saw it on my phone and instantly went into a "How great the Black would be at a theme park." I love sales pitches!

I have the black. Considering it cones with the $70 remote, it's a pretty good deal. And "they" say only the black is good in low light, but I haven't tried that yet. I LOVE my Chesty! Haven't even tried the headstrap yet, but I'm thinking the chesty is the most secure for rides. Not to mention least dorky looking LOL

But did he throw in the remote? lol Did you buy? And please tell me you got at least a Chesty. Whichever model you get you are going to have a blast with it. Hope you kick --- at the charity event!

Definitely rely on the Chesty. The headstrap gives me a headache unless it is on a helmet. And Buzz, I forgot, if you mountain bike at all consider the specific handlebar mount. And for both of you, unless you duct tape the sucker, don't mount it on a club that you are going to swing just to see what the video would look like. Let us just say that the housing is worth its weight in gold.

Cheers!

Howling!!! That is such a guy thing to do, and something we'd all consider after so much time, lol.

So here's what he promised me by next week, a White, with Chesty, remote and stable mount for $275. Good deal?

And thanks on tomorrow's well wishes. Playing for homeless, addicted, pregnant teens to have a place to grow, and get to play with some of my favorite hockey players. Problem with that? They are all 315+ off the tee and usually fairway bound. If I don't keep my approaches close, I'm doomed.

That is a fantastic deal. Going to guess he has to get the White from your store's online "business". Like Ms Buffy lol says the remote itself is $70. So keep your eye out for the memory card(s) deals because that should be his next pitch when you come in next week.

OMG! Which city are you in? If you are playing with the champs, I want autographs lol! Let us just say that as a long suffering Calgary Flames fan, I claim slight band wagon jump on rights because of Sutter. Yup, those professional athletes are unbelievable off the tee. On a more serious note, sounds like a great charity and good for you for supporting them. I have volunteered and taught courses at our YWCA and Children's Cottage, and your phrase "have a place to grow" is right on.

Cheers!

LOL, I'm a Jerseyan. It's with my beloved Devils. A scrappy team who gave me the thrill of a lifetime 2 years ago, but are doomed beyond, haha.

He said "We'll talk about memory when you pick it up" so I assumed that's where he plans on getting me (He was salty I didn't take the black)

At least you make the playoffs. Oh well, maybe next year or the year after or...lol.

Yup, I believe memory card and/or warranty should be the next spiel.

Cheers!
