MLK Weekend

I've just decided to try to get ressies when MS opens Monday for MLK weekend, Jan. 2005 . Have never been down in January. Is that a really crowded weekend? Do you think I will be able to get a reservation?

We went that week this year and it was great! The crowds were low and there was no waiting for anything. We made PS's each morning and never had a problem with getting them. It can be a little cool in the evenings. We did wear jeans and sweatshirts occassionally, but overall an excellent time to go.

The weekend itself (Friday to Monday) can get fairly crowded. Immediately before and after the crowds are typically-January...nonexistent.

We always goto wdw in Jan, usually towards the end of the month. This year we went the week of mk since dd is now in school, I didn't think the crowds were that bad for a holiday. The weather is awesome that time of the year, usually in the 70's, nights may get a little chilly but better than sweating in the summertime. We didn't make our ressies for bwv until Nov and had no problem getting a 1 bedroom. Good luck and have fun!!

We have been there for MLK day, and ony othe MK was crowded. We just knew to stay away from that park.

We went this past Jan for MLK week. The Monday off and the weekend before were crowed but after that the crowds were very light. They were so light that my sister who hadn't wanted to take her kids out of school decided they are going back next time during the same week. The only thing that I missed that I always miss in the winter is the BWV pool. I am not one for a pool unless it is 90 out. We changed at 7 months out from BWV to OKW, we had wanted BCV or WLV but they were booked up. Good luck on your ressie.
