MK to Trail's End?

We've decided to try out the dinner buffet at Trail's End after reading so many good reviews. We'll be at MK the day that we're going. How long do I need to allow for getting there? I thought the boat ride would be a nice, relaxing way to go. How long is the ride? And about how often do the boats run? Or is there another way to get there that would be easier/quicker and maybe just do the boat ride on the way back when we're not worried about time?

The boat ride it the best and most direct way to get there. I would allow 40 minutes. When you get off the boat dock just walk straight and you will see a big building on the right and that is where it is located. Its about a 5 -8 minute walk from the boat dock.

I would allow 40 to 45 minutes to get there. that allows time to just miss boat and have to wait for nest one. as already said it is a short walk to there from boat dock. you did not ask but there is no car parking near Trails End

The boat would most likely be the fastest. You could walk to the Contemporary and take a cab to the Campground but from there you'd have to take the internal bus for the campground.

Another vote to take the boat. It's a nice relaxing ride. Probably a 15 minute ride, but like the others said, the time you have to budget to wait for the boat will vary. Allowing 40 minutes sounds about right.
