We have a 1:00 lunch at Kona Cafe in Nov. How much time should I allow for us to take the monorail from MK to the Polynesian, eat and monorail back to MK?
Buses are also offered as an option if the monorail is down.Remember also that sometimes the monorail goes down in midday (happened to us two weeks ago) and you will have to take the boat I would start heading that way at noon. Then you can check out resort if early
I've only taken the boat once..... is it quicker? I never thought so, but the monorail has to stop at Contemporary and TTC first before reaching Poly.... or does it go the other way... I don't remember ???I'd also recommend taking the boat to the poly. I like to monorail, but if I was wanting to maximize my time I'd take the boat.
MK>Contemp>TTC>Poly>GF, then back around. It's about a fifteen minute Monorial ride form MK to the poly. The boat is about fifteen minutes as well.I've only taken the boat once..... is it quicker? Yes the Monorial drops off on the second floor lobby, once you exit the platform and enter the building Kona is on the imedite left. The boat launch is downstairs, behind the grand ceremonial house to the left.Doesn't the monorail put you right at the lobby? With the boat there's a bit of walking to the main building.
I'm only going off of memory though, not a map.
