MK tix more expensive?

I was just canoodling around on the WDW website - there's an outside chance for us to take a short trip in April - and I noticed that MK single-day tickets are now $5 more than single-day tickets for the other parks.

This may not be news to this board, but I missed it.

My questions are these:

1) Is this true at the gate as well?

2) We have an old ticket from a previous trip with one day left on it. I would assume this would be good at any of the parks without further payment, but . . . one never knows, do one? Am I right, or will there be a $5 upcharge for the MK?

Yes, MK is more expensive now if you purchase the ticket there that day. If you have a ticket from a prior visit that is non-expiring ticket, I don't think there will be an upcharge to enter the MK. Disney should honor it.

Yes, I think so. The higher priced 1-day MK ticket is what is listed on Cheshire Figment's ticket sticky price table. The prices went into effect in June of last year.

From everything I've read/experienced, you should not have to pay a upcharge. Regarding the new price structure, the price difference was only applied to the 1-day MK ticket. None of the other base tickets have price differences depending on the parks you plan to visit (i.e., there is no multi-day base ticket for MK only).
