MK this morning 09/27/06

Hi All,

We spent the morning at the MK. It was great for us as we were able to do all of our favs with no wait. PoC, Splash, BTM, HM, TTA and Mickey's Philharmagic were all walk ons other than waiting for the next show to start for MPhM.

The lines for the Fanstayland rides had longer lines than the big three. We do not ride Space anymore due to it hurting our backs but we did ride the TTA and that was also a walk on. Buzz also had a line out of the building.

So if you have little ones the strollers and lines for the under five set are everywhere but if you are traveling with an older traveling party the lines are no existant.

If the kiddie areas are not your target destinations then you should be all set.

I wonder if WDW had a great response with the promo for the emh with the 5 and under crowd with their parents. Sure sounds like it.

Yes. The love bugs are everywhere. I had to defend my pina colada from the love bugs while I was pool side yesterday afternoon and just today had to defend my McD's Fries from them in MGM.

We believe that between the free dining, which were are using but we did not change our travel dates to take advantage of it, and then the under five promotion there are more little ones then we have seen in past Sept trips.

Well, this morning we went back to the AK to walk the gorilla trail and to ride the safari as we did not get a chance to to do these the other day. We used a FP for the safari but there really was no need for it as the stand by line was a walk up to the merge point anyway.

We then headed over to try and get another ride on EE but it was closed for technicial issues and we saw two CMs out on the track that goes up into the mountain. They did not know when or if it would reopen today. We were very glad that we rode this twice on our first visit to the AK.

We then took the bus over to the ST hoping to have a counter service lunch at the Backlot Express and then seeing about riding ToT again. Believe it or not the Backlot Express was closed and according to the time guide it will be closed everyday but Saturday.

It is very tiring visiting WDW so right now we are taking our afternoon break and we will be heading over to EC for dinner at LeCellier. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

We are at POR. This is our second stay at this resort. I have posted some stuff on the resort board and the dining plan board.
