Has anyone tried MK on Sun? I was wondering about the crowds. Sun. used to be a great day to go. But I'm afraid the new "magic hour" may have messed that up. I'd appreciate any info.
Thanks,
Staci

We were there on Sunday in early December--a slow time anyway (but MK was crowded on Saturday), and it was great--ran through Fantasyland in no time. Remember Peter Pan and Pooh are FastPass rides

Thanks for the info. I'm wondering, did this (magic hour on Sun.) cut down on traffic on Monday. Or is Mon. still as busy as always?

We just did extra magic hour at MK this past Sunday. It started out nice and empty for the first couple hours, but it did get pretty busy by lunchtime. We left soon after and went to Epcot.

Right now, the worst time to be in MK seems to be on Saturdays because it is the only day of the week when they're having Spectromagic these days. At least that's my read on it. ;)

Travelbug, thanks for the info. I figured MK would begin getting busy on Sunday now. I just haven't decided if I'm brave enough to try Mon. HaHa!

I think it probably depends on what time of year it is. I seem to remember earlier posts indicating that Mondays were pretty crowded at MK-lots of people travelling on the weekend making the MK their first park. However, we went to MK on a Monday the third week in October and it was fabulous--we almost(No WAY!!!) got sick of riding Splash Mtn over and over at 10:30-11:00 a.m. This was after Space MTn 6 or 7 times with standby lines of fifteen minutes- you could just keep getting fastpasses, though, and walk right back onto the FP line after riding.
If you're worried about it, or it's a busy time of year, be sure to go early, prioritize what you want to do, use FP, and leave for another park if the crowd picks up.

We went at the end January. Sunday Magic Hour was empty and the park seemed managable all day. It was cool and that may have had something to do with it. Monday was a madhouse and a mistake for us to go there. Tuesday it was empty again. Walk ons all day, no fast pass needed. If it were me, I'd hit magic hour and then leave on Sunday and go back later in the week. :)
