I leave tomorrow. I will be in MK on Thursday. And at STARBUCKS SOON AFTER!!!! I can't wait to get a mug!!!!!!!!!!!!
I collect one every trip. Looks like I'm getting 2 mugs this trip: resort mug AND a Starbucks park mug!! yayyyyy

Unlike the person who wrote the article in the link, I am not happy that they are updating the mugs. Argh! Now I feel compelled to buy another, even though I have a full set of 4 WDW Starbucks mugs and a Universal one already! Plus I won't put them in the dishwasher, so we are always washing them by hand.

My quandary now, I have the first series (my Epcot Mug is the original Purple Monorail). I have been collection the YAH mugs for a while and have started to run out of room (they sit on the ledge surrounding my kitchen).

Do I get all new ones to add/replace, do I get the two that I really like (Epcot and DHS), or do I leash in my tchotchke addiction and not buy any, especially since my next trip will probably be carry-on only.

ARGHHHHHHH!

I do have a Disney Winnie the Pooh mug that I use at work, maybe I should buy the Epcot one (my fav of the new series) and replace it.

Okay...so in 2015 I got the MK and Epcot mugs...I'm going this November...so will they have the AK and DHS mugs still?? I know they might be a new design, just hoping to get them at WDW and not pay extra for them from EBAY...LOLOLOL....

I can tell you with the ceramic YAH mugs I haven't had a problem. I've observed that they try to keep a pretty steady stream of them in so it's getting rare to have someone say they ran out. I follow a lot of vlogs/blogs that are Disney based and maybe twice in the past couple of years that they've been available have I heard complaints about them being out.

I've gotten mine at different times as with Series One the Starbucks opened at different dates. Sometimes I was there right after the opening and sometimes it was months later. I've never been NOT able to get the mug I want.

I do see people talking about the plastic cups being sold out more than the ceramics. Maybe because the cups are pretty generic container as far as people using them for water, or soda, or iced coffee or tea, etc and the ceramics are pretty much only a warm beverage container.

Yes, they are selling out. However, they seems to replenish 2-3 days later, but you have to get there early. Resellers are purchasing several at a time.

They aren't a limited edition product (at least not nearly on the scale on Pins or such), maybe limited release since they have changed the designs. But until they change the designs, they will keep making and selling them. Since it's a new design, people rush out to buy them causing supply issues initially. Similar to the banshees in Pandora. Pretty sure they were darn near impossible to get for a few months, but now it's much easier. If you aren't traveling for a few weeks or even months it shouldn't be a big issue to get the YAH mugs. Seasonal/event specific things like the Epcot 35 or the holiday mugs will be more limited in supply, but once again we are talking in the 10,000s I believe, not hundreds.

Be super careful packing the tumblers! I got home from Hawaii with 4 YAH mugs, 2 bottles of wine, a bottle of root beer, a hurricane glass, 2 Aulani mugs, and 2 Xmas ornaments....but my tumbler was in bits. I literally almost cried over a mug. I drink water all day, and I just have a bottle I use, but I was going to make that my everyday use reminder of Hawaii. So sad Maybe I can console myself with one of these!!

Now, they have new mugs so that picture on the first page is of the old mugs. I was in Disney this week and found both the new & old Epcot mugs, but I couldn't find the new MK mugs. All MK had was the old mugs and the 45th anniversary tumblers. The mugs are super cute and I love them all! Can't wait to go back next month and (hopefully) get the new MK one.

Surprised that they didn't have the new MK one! I'm hoping they still have both at DHS when I get there, but I doubt it! I remember last year, standing in the HS Starbucks with the last version mug in my hand and saying, "You already got the AK one and the 45th anniversary mug - next time!" D'oh!

Hi Guys! I got ONE mug!! There were plenty of them. And two styles. I got the one with the castle on it. Of course. Sadly, I can't remember the other design. It was a long day. I love it. It's nice and wide and awesome. Something fun to collect each visit!!

PS the first Epcot had a teal monorail on it. It was pulled because of the significance of monorail teal in the WDW fleet.

I want the new DL ones but will not be there for another year.

My favorite is the new Studios one, by far.

Fun! I don't suppose they had any of the old Studios one there? I doubt it, but if you saw my above post, regretting I didn't get when I saw it- didn't know there would be new versions, at least not that quickly!
