MK shoot on Main Street?

I was just wondering if they allowed a few pics of the bride and groom on Main Street as part of the shoot? I love the look of Main Street and I think it would be so neat to have a photo or two of us all dolled up in our wedding attire on Main Street?

Of course I'd still want the castle and carousel pics, just wondering if they let you substitute one for one on Main St?

I would love to know as well! After seeing Sarah & Fred's wedding pictures along Main Street at night during their in-park wedding, I want to have similar ones taken as well... I'd be willing to forgo the carousel pics to have those done. Our pictures would be done at night and I just LOVE the way Main Street looks all light up while it is dark outside, especially with the castle lit up in it's grey & blue colors...

OMG, I just looked at Sarah & Fred's wedding pics-if you guys are out there-WOW!!!!

I didn't know you could have your entire wedding AT the MK!!?? I can't even imagine how much that costs, but what a dream come true!!

It really depends. We requested Main Street, however they were busy cleaning and getting Main Street ready for the park opening during our shoot. All of the lights were on, including the Christmas tree, but there were too many maintenance vehicles and workers for it to work. Our photographer took a pic of us from the castle looking back towards Main Street. Not the same thing, but that's what we got. DH is a former cast member and Main Street is his favorite so we were pretty bummed! I'm sure if there weren't vehicles and workers we would have had our dream photo.

Ooh I didn't think about the fact that it would be morning....and I guess it's impossible to get a night time shoot without shelling out ALOT of money!!

Oh well, the MK shoot is so beautiful, I'm sure it will be perfect in itself!

We were able to substitute Main Street for the Carrousel for our MK shoot. We attempted to strike similar poses to Sarah & Fred but it didn't turn out quite as well. However, we got a few good shots.

They warned us that there would be workers on Main Street and there were, but it is possible to frame shots so they aren't seen. However, we have a couple shots with people walking in the background and couple with a truck driving through.

I think the idea is you can have two locations and these are normally the Castle and the Carrousel but if you prefer you can swap the Carrousel for somewhere else.

normally the other place is on request like the photographer, if they can do it they will try but its not guarenteed
