MK Rope Drop plan?

What is the best way to do it, in your opinion? Normally, I will rope drop 7DMT, and then do some other Fantasyland attractions. Touring Plans always recommends doing Tomorrowland first.

I can see the benefit of both, but I just hate the thought of having to wait for 7DMT later on. I know it's also an option to do it right before park close, which I am considering. Splash used to be my "park close" ride, but since it'll no longer be in operation, I will need a new big ticket attraction.

For me, it depends on my situation and what time I arrive at MK. First, I assume you mean early entry rope drop, since non-resort guests cannot access Fantasyland or Tomorrowland during early entry. Rope dropping those lands at official park opening as a non-resort guest will be a significant disadvantage.

Of course the early entry rope drop crowd heads queues between the hub and Cheshire Cafe to get to Mine Train. If I'm one of the first in line at the tapstiles, which means I took the first resort bus to MK, then I'll consider going to Mine Train. Being one of the first or few groups at the tapstiles puts me closer to the rope for Mine Train. I would never rope drop Mine Train if I were at the back of that crowd.

If I got there behind that pack, I would choose Space Mountain instead. It's a great first ride. The queue moves fast. It's easy to get to right at rope drop, and it allows me to re-ride using G+ later in the day. It also allows me to get on Astro Orbiter during early entry which also has a long line during the day. I can easily knock out Space, Astro Orbiter, Buzz, and be on Speedway by official park opening. I generally never go to PP. So that isn't an issue.
