Obviously the roller coasters are out of the question. But what about Peter Pan, Pooh, Little Mermaid? I'm thinking Jungle cruise and riverboat will be okay But wasn't sure about the others I listed.

My dad has problems with Vertigo sometimes so trying to stay off rides that might mess him up.

Thanks!!

Depends how bad it is. Peter Pan could be an issue. Not JUngle Cruise or Pirates. Off the top of my head, I would say that in addition to the coastes, one should (must) avoid:

Tea Cups
Astro Orbiter
Alladin's Magic Carpets
Dumbo
Maybe Stitch's Escape if darkness is a trigger. (But there are plenty of other reasons to avoid that ride leaving vertigo aside.)

As someone with vertigo I was surprised at how well I did on many of the rides. I took Bonine and was selective but did fine on BTMR, Splash, Test Track and the rides you mentioned. I was also worried about Soarin but had no problems. The ride that made me sick was Dumbo.

No spinning rides for me either!

I stay away from these rides at MK:
Astro Orbiter
Tea Cups
Dumbo
Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Buzz Lightyear spin, is fine as long as my partner in the car does not spin the car. You can get though the whole ride with out spinning with the right partner.

AK:
Primeval Whirl....I call it Pimeval Hurl!
TriceraTop spin
I love Everest, but too many times in a row, the backwards part of the coaster can get me queasy.

EPCOT:
Sum of all thrills
Both sides of Mission Space
I love Soarin but have to close my eyes during a couple scenes.

DS:
Star Tours

I take Bonine and I'm fine on every ride except Soarin. It's doable but it can bother me at times.

I agree with those as well! Peter pan should be fine...I don't feel like you can really feel yourself moving while riding? Maybe if you start to feel anything coming on, just don't look down?

I'd stay away from Buzz Lightyear as well. There's a part when you're going through space and it feels like you're going really fast, so all the stars are going super fast past you

And you'll definitely be fine on Winnie the Pooh...very calm ride (if I remember correctly!) I dont remember spinning...the honey pot might change directions, but not fast!
