Our big meal at MK was Plaza restaurant. This is one of our favorites so we made PS before we left. Well our plans changed and we wern't able to do our original PS and were afraid we wouldn't be able to fit it in. We showed up just as they were opening for the day and wlked right in. The food here is still spectacular and the best hidden gem. Our server said many people don't realize they are there but they get a lot of repeat customers when they do find it. That I can believe.

I had the turkey club with german potato salad. It was as delishous as I remember. I need to get a good german potato salad recipe. The sandwiches are so big that I always think I won't be able to finish them but I always manage. All that was left was a bit of crust. :) DD had the kids burger meal which came with two mini burgers, so cute. DD had the grilled chesse and said it was the best he had ever had. We never have any room for dessert so one day I will have to stop in for ice cream.

This was one of the best meals of our trip!

The Plaza restaurant is at the end of Main street on the right hand side, betweent he ice cream parlor and the Plaza fast food place. Easy to miss.

I forgot to add we also had a yummy turkey leg in Frontierland. Had to fight off some nasty birds though. They were pretty agressive and not scared of anything. Also had breakfast at CP and do a seperate review for that. Didn't spend alot of time in MK because it was really crowded so didn't eat a lot here.

Thanks for the reviews! I have never been to Plaza Restaurant but I've been reading such great things about this place I can't wait to try it!

Great review ~ Thanx for sharing.

We love the Plaza. It is a hidden gem in the MK. Last time we had tomator soup and a Reuben sandwich that OMG was sooooo delicious.

Really appreciate this review, as we're trying this restaurant for the first time on our upcoming September trip. Wanted something simple before Spectro one night, so this fits the bill.

I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was the surprise of our trip! I will definitely be going again. I also love the German potato salad.:D

I would also like to add that they are very friendly to those of us with allergies.

They have a "notebook" readily available that lists ingredients and Chef Andy spoke to me and said if he had enough warning, he could do ANYTHING!
