MK Photoshoot Booking???

Hey girls n guys


When it comes to booking the MK photoshoot is that something your wedding planner books for you or do you have to book it direct with Disney??

If booking is direct with Disney how many days before wedding date can you book??

Sorry can i just ask how far in advance was it booked then? Does this mean you booked the MK Shoot before you had confirmed your date & signed your contract with Disney

Our SM told us we could book as soon as we were confirmed. Otherwise she said they wouldn't have our info available to them. I don't think they had the info when we called anyway but once I gave her our dates and such and told her we were working with Pam she was fine with making the reservation. So as soon as we did the contract we called and booked. It was a little less then a year out. Our wedding is in early Dec. the only problem we had was the parade was being taped the week of our wedding so MK had the week blocked out for photo shoots. Luckily we're doing a Disney cruise and just arranged to go back for a couple of days after so we could fit the photo shoot in. HTH,

We penciled in our wedding dates and venues at the year out, thankfully we didn't have to go into a lottery. A few days after the year mark the photoshoot was penciled in. We contracted in at eight months and then the photoshoot was confirmed by me double checking with my sales consultant and the photography department emailing to confirm the date and time.

we booked ours when we contracted as well, our sales man Bill booked it all and then our planner has confirmed it

Go ahead and do it I booked mine in advance and three weeks before it was canceled due to a disney commerical, the only day they could resch. for was my wedding day, so I had to get up at 3am b/c they bumped me up to 5am shoot instead of the 6am. It was worth it !

Does the same thing hold true for the other park shoots as well? I am giving up the MK photoshoot to do one at either Epcot or MGM. I'm thinking Epcot. We love WS. Does anyone know what time those get scheduled?

My wedding is in October of this year and I booked my MK session back in January. My planner actually booked it for me. So we are all set for Wednesday October 22nd bright and early.
