MK Photo Session

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before, but my head is spinning from all of the photography research I've been doing.

For the $800, you get 12 4x5 prints, right? What about proofs? Can you purchase all of them on a CD like you can with the regular photo package?

You can purchase them! I think the high res CD is $1000. Not sure about the low res CD.

They send you all the proofs though. You don't just get the 12. The 12 are in an album though.

this is right....they pick 12 and put them in a binder but we ended up with about 35 picture proofs in addition...

Depends on the photographer. However, usually they stay with the carousel, the castle and in front of the castle. There are workers around and about cleaning and stuff this time of the morning. It is very quick. Ours was about 45 minutes.

Our shoot took about an hour. We were infront of the castle, carousel, back of castle and inside the castle.

It was lots of fun and great for memories.

Quick question...I am still up in the air on getting pics taken in MK...can I bring my 8 year old son or is it limited to the bride and groom? We are the only 3 going so if I cannot take him then that makes my decision.... DFi does not want to get up that early as well!!!

Just to let you know, they will let you do the MK photoshoot two days after the wedding. If we go with the custom, our reception doesn't end until 1:30am. Getting up for a 6am photoshoot just isn't possible. They told us we could have it the following day.

Hi all, everyones talking about getting up early. I've seen some MK photos at night...Do they give you an option?

The pics do look like they are taken at night, but they are really taken at 5:00 am. Be prepared to be up early and have your hair and make-up ready.

I read your posting that your photographer gave you a choice of two rides. I would really really like to do the haunted mansion pictures...Is there anyway to do this for sure..

No. They usually only let you have pics in the castle area, in the front of it, the stairway area and the carousel. Sometimes they have been known to let you have a couple others, but don't expect it. The Tomorrowland lights were on when I had mine done (which the photographer said was unusual for that time so he wanted to do some pics there). There are workers around getting the park ready for the day when you show up.
