MK opens at 9:00 - what time should we make breakfast ADR for CRT?

DD is looking forward to seeing the park before anyone else can enter. Great photo ops, and will get us up & going at a decent hour. Is 8:30 cutting it too close to rope drop? Is there a separate line for ADR people? Also, how long should I plan for breakfast?
Thanks!

1) You cannot do breakfast early and see rope drop.
2) Not enough time, after 1-hr or so for breakfast.
3) Make your ressie before 9:00 (anywhere 8:05am to 9:00am)
4) You can walk to eatery 15-minutes before ADR.
5) This will let you see Main Street uncrowded.

I wasn't very clear.....sorry! We are not interested in being there for rope drop. We want early entry to see Main St. without a crowd, eat our breakfast and then start our day touring MK. What I was actually wondering is if we make ADR for 8:30, for example, will we have to wait in a huge line of folks who ARE lining up for rope drop, or will we be able to easily enter MK and make it to our ADR.

Also, how long before our ADR will we be allowed in? Can we get there at 8:00 and walk around until we check in?

Thanks!

I am actually wondering the same thing. Our ressies are for 8:10am. What is the recommended time to show up to leisurely stroll down main street?

Also where do you enter MK? I imagine it can't be the same entry and park guests. Lots of guidance/advice is appreciated as we have not been there in many years.

Left-most turnstile is the ADR entry. I guess I've never been more than 15 minutes early, so per Rusty, I guess they could hold you there.

30 minutes is probably the best possible dining time if you skip the photo op downstairs, get seated and served immediately, and don't care for any photos while dining. 60 minutes is typical.

Since the selection is limited, they are usually able to get the plates out quickly.

We were there last year for early ressies at Crystal Palace and got there about 25 min. early and they let us in with no problems. We walked leisurely down Main Street took lots of pictures around the castle, then walked to CP about 5 min. before our ressie and went right in. So quiet and peaceful that early in the morning there - we loved it ;)

We book a pre-opening ADR at the Crystal Palace every trip. I make the ADR for 1 hour before park opening. This allows for us to get there a little early, be seated at or very near the ADR time and enjoy a good 45-50 minute meal and character interaction. If we get done early, we just mill around near the Adventureland rope and take family pictures with the castle in the backgroun

As soon as the rope drops, we are off to Pirates for our first ride...

We're creatures of habit and enjoy our first day traditions

Ditto on what HandyMom except we head for Big Thunder Railroad and Splash Mountain.:thumbsup2

We have a 9:30am ADR for CRT, but have 3 kids under 5. Will they let us in say around 8:45am instead of 9am when the park opens?
