MK Opening Ceremony

Could anybody please tell me if Disney does a Magic Kingdom opening ceremony when the park has morning Extra Magic Hours?

Yes,currently at 7:50 AM.

It is the same Magic Kingdom Welcome or version thereof done on regular opening days(currently at 8:40 AM).

Just an fyi...they don't always have the opening ceremony with the characters everyday. I don't know how often they do it, but whenever I have gone they have done it, but I have heard sometimes they don't. Just want to put it out there.

We did rope drop two days at the MK the last week of June. One was a regular day and one was EMH. No show on either day.

Yes,that's why I put "or version thereof" in my post.

They do "try" to do the complete Magic Kingdom Welcome,but circumstances don't always allow that,so there are several "versions" all the way down to just a "plain" Rope Drop.
