So I think I'm finally ready to book my next trip after we've postponed 3 times now. We're looking at 11/12 -11/16 (or 11/17). Right now we're not planning on attending MVMCP. Which day would be best for hitting up MK - 11/15 (the non-party day) or one of the 3 party days that week? Are the party days really less crowded than a non-party day? I've only done another park or no park at all when I've gone to one of the parties.

Unless you want to see the fireworks or, have park hoppers, I highly recommend booking your MK day on a party day.

Here is random data from 2022 park attendance clearly showing crowds are consistently lower on party days.

We went to MK on a Christmas party day the week after Thanksgiving and the crowds were very low. It was really nice not have super long waits. We popped in the next day (a non-party day) to find something in the gift shops on main street and it was insanely busy. I will only go on party days now in the fall/Christmas time.

Like others have said, if you are not interested in seeing a nighttime entertainment at MK, visiting MK on a party day is the way to go. Attendance is low during the day and you're able to accomplish a lot before being kicked out for the party.

For our last trip we went to MK on a day of a MSSSHP. We did everything we wanted at MK and then hopped over to DHS and then did a bunch at that park. Attendance at DHS seemed light, which could be because folks were at the Halloween party.

Good luck and have fun.

Does anyone have any idea whether there will be extra hours at Magic Kingdom during the month of November, 2023 on the non party nights?
