MK on Mother's Day??

DH and I are planning a few day trips to the World in May. We had thought about going to MK on Sunday, May 11 like last year. Last year that Sunday was also Mother's Day.

We are kind of worried since Disney has added early entry back to the schedule as we are staying offsite and don't want to have a bad experience our first day.

Last year the crowds were very tolerable there.

Any opinions or guesses as to this year?

I've never been to the Magic Kingdom on Mother's Day. I'm going to bump this back to page one for you, and let some of our veterans field this question.

We were at MK on Mother's Day in 2000 & 2001. It was not overcrowded in the afternoon and crowds thinned out by the early evening. That was before EE on Sunday though. We went to Epcot in the morning for the free Mother's Day picture and then headed to MK in the afternoon for an early dinner (her favorite, Cinderella's). We're planning the same this year! Can't wait!

We were there on Mother's Day last year. MK wasn't crowded to speak of, but PS's will be even harder to get as everyone wants to take Mom out to eat. Chief Mickey's raised their prices for the day.
