MK on a Saturday or Halloween party day?

We’ll be at WDW in October and want to do one day at MK. Our options are to either go on a day that Mickey’s halloween party is also going on or go on Saturday when there won’t be a Halloween party. Which would you choose? We’re staying at VGF. Thanks!

How much do you care about fireworks? If that is important, go Saturday. Otherwise, do EE on the party day. Crowds tend to be lower because of the 6 PM close, but will pick up after 4 when the party folks come in. Saturday will probably be more busy in general.

Thanks! Very useful information. Have you done the Halloween party? Cost wise, it’ll be about the same doing that versus a regular park ticket…

Exactly as @georgina said. If you don’t want to see the fireworks then a party day is a much better choice for the MK. Crowds are significantly higher in the MK on non- party days.

They do the regular 3:00 parade but it is not Halloween themed.
