How crowded will MK be on Oct. 25?
We will be heading over there @ 4pm to see Spectro & FITS, since that will be the only day during our vacation they will be showing.
My Q is, what to do b4 Spectro & when to get a seat for the parade.
Is it out of the Q to try SM, HM or Splash b4 the parade?

Splash and BTMRR are good choices for before the parade since the parade takes a long time to make its way to in front of the bridge there by Splash.....

Lines will be short short as well

Thanks

Thanks. I think after a long hot day, Splash would be a good attraction to hit.

We will be in MK on October 25th too.

We've been there there last 3 Octobers and do the same thing. We head over to MK in the evening to watch FITS and the parade. It is a madhouse on Saturdays in October as much as it is in May! You may still have to wait in long lines to get on any ride. It is so crowded we had trouble walking. We never plan on doing any rides that day and if we are lucky to come upon a ride with a smallish line we would be happy. Unfortunately that has never happened! We do book a meal at one of the restaurants in the park for that evening and try to relax as much as possible before the parade starts. Everyone starts lining up for the parade about 2 hours before it starts so we never attempt to find a spot. It just seems like too much time to have to wait. About an hour before the start time we just pick a place where there is 5 deep or less and stand there! LOL! As far as the FITS, a great spot is the bridge leading to Tomorrowland. You get a great view of FITS and it usually isn't too mobbed.

I would expect it to be crowded too. Since they only have Spectro on 1 or 2 nights in the offseason, those days are crowded. We were at MK on Tuesday May 13, Spectro was run that night and it was very crowded all day.

As far as getting a curb seat, I would start looking an hour before, maybe longer. Main Street & the front of the castle fill up first, Frontierland later.

Sorry to say MK is almost always crowded on a Saturday. I dont think it matters the month to tell the truth.

Thank you.
This has all been very helpful. I don't remember it being too terribly crowded last year, but, I am older now......:smooth:
I did get to see the parade, but it was unplanned.
What is the parade route? Where does it start?

Minniespal: How fun. We are going for the F&WF @ Epcot & will be there (@ the Poly) for 10 days. Maybe we can say hi to each other.
:p

Spectro starts at the entrance to Main Street, and exits past Splash Mountain/Pecos Cafe. In other words the reverse route of the Afternoon parade.

I always watch from Splash to get on the BTMRR and Splash as noted below and also once Spectro is done, I can essentially almost just turn around to see FITS

Thanks
