MK Mountains Challenge

Didn't there used to be a "thing" at MK called the "Mountains Challenge" if you rode Space, Splash, and Big Thunder in one day?
I seem to remember you got a card or certificate or something?


Was this/ is this still a thing?

Or was I just hallucinating?

I don't recall that and I've done that several times both in recent years and also in the early-mid 90s as a kid, never got a card or certificate for it

I've never heard of such thing, and I'm sure a ton of people do that each trip. All 3 are popular rides, so I guarantee many people ride all 3 in one day, and possibly more. This past trip we rode Splash 3, Space 2, and Big Thunder 1 during one day.

Now, it may have been an unofficial challenge or something, but I've never heard of such a thing.

I don't think there is an "official" challenge, but many people write about conquering these 3 (now 4, if you include Seven Dwarfs) in blogs or in the "fun things to do" in guide books.

That said, I can't think of a time when I went to MK and I didn't ride all mountains at least once.

Its really easy to do, even with the FP+ system. MK isn't tiered so just make those 3 your FP+ rides (and do the 4th at rope drop).

This seems to be the more popular mountain challenge. When I Google it, this is mostly what comes up. That and Steven Miller from the DP Blog who did all the Mountains at MK. No certificate tho, just his fedora ear hat.

We've never done it before, as my boys have not been tall enough until now. For us it will be a challenge!
