MK May Hours of Operation

I'm so excited! We'll be at POR May 13-May 28
I keep checking the hours of operation for MK during that
time, thinking they are going to extend their closing time
but it appears other than EMH it is still 9:00. I've been
to Disney a few other times in May and MK never closes
that early. Why would they only be open until 9pm? I love
walking around the park at night and especially riding BTMR
in the dark but that just might not be happening this year.

Keep checking hours like Robo said, but keep in mind that certain times of the year, the parks aren't always open real late. So it's not THAT uncommon sometimes if the park closes at 9

I'm with you, OP. We'll be there the week before you and I'm scratching my head over the 9 pm closing time as well. We go this time every year and it's usually open later. I keep checking expectantly.

If I can decode that sentence

I think that you mean that you hope that Disney is not closing MK early (and not offering a nighttime parade) because
of them now using those funds/CMs to operate DAK at night.

Im seeing days (May 20th for example) that has MK closing at 11 pm on a NON EMH day.


I just checked your dates and it's either 10pm or 11 pm every night except for 1 am on an EMH evening (may 24)

And, that's why the advice is to "just keep rechecking the hours."

I just got notification that my fastpass from 8:20-9:00 had changed to 8:20-9:20. Checked and sure enough, late May and early June hours updated. MK open until 11 on 5/31.

I am a little disappointed with the hours. I was hoping for a midnight close near the end of May. But I know the last updates are extending to 8am or midnight. Also hoping that they push DHS to 10 or 11.

Same here - yesterday received notice that 8:30-9:00 FP was now until 9:30. Checked all the park hours for our visit 5/17-22 and MK has been extended to 10 or 11 every night and AK to 9:30. I would not be surprised to see further changes.

I'm happy with the changes I just noticed today - we are there May 29 - June 2 and on May 31st MK was closing at 9pm with EMH to 11pm, now it's open until 11pm with EMH to 1am... and looks like every other night now has later hours too, but the 31st was the one I was hoping for as that was the planned late night for MK anyway.
