MK limit entrance July 3rd (historically)?

Anyone know if MK has hit any levels of closing the gate on July 3rd (I think I've read in the past that it might on the 4th)? We have a7:00 ADR Sunday night and wanted to go over to MK afterwards.

We were at MK on July 3rd last year and while it was quite crowded mid-day, I doubt it was at a level to cause any kind of closing at the park.

This year, July bookings seem to be way down from usual, so you should have an easier time than we did last year.

You should be fine. We went in the morning until afternoon and then left. We went back for CRT later that evening and had no problem!

i'm heading in on the 3rd but I plan to get a late lunch and then stay until the fireworks. I'm expecting swamped but not phased closing.

We arrived at MK last July 3 around 6pm.
We had no problem getting in.

planning on arriving after 6 from hopping from AK earlier in the day this Sunday. hopefully won't have any major problems.

The only people who stand a chance of being shut out are those who walk up to buy 1 day tickets. That is about the only phase of closing the parks have hit in many years.
And if those people are on site hotel guests I believe they'd still get in. Just non-resort walk up 1 day ticket buyers that are at risk.

2015 no problems July 3-6th, but we didn't stay for fireworks. This year may be different!
