Nope this is not a political thread....
Lets have some fun with our veteran WDW visitors.
I ask this every so often.

So do you turn left toward the sounds of the drums?
Or do you turn right towards the future?

And WHY? Is it part of a larger strategy?

Usually head for Fantasyland for a 7DMT or Peter Pan FP. If FP aren't at issue, we probably head to Tomorrowland as it doesn't seem as crowded early in the morning.

Left because it’s pretty easy to get either multiple rides on BTMR and Splash or ride each of them once and then get JC or PotC with short waits at RD.
This is close to my usual plan, but we do POTC 1st, then SPM BTMRR back to POTC, JC and cut through to HM. Usually you can do all those at least once by 12.
My issue this trip is , I found I LOVE AL and LS in the evening. The atmosphere is the best in MK.
So , I will attempt a full round the lands , to end up in AL in the evening......

Sometimes straight to Fantasyland, sometimes left. As I think of it, it's been at least 20 years since I've seen Tomorrowland in the morning.

Usually left, we only go to Tomorrowland to ride Carosel and Peoplemover so it's usually last before we leave the park.

Back in the day, the strategy was to go against the crowd, so we'd go right. Now I go in the direction of my first FP. Which in this case is to Fantasyland to meet some princesses, then clockwise to Tomorrowland for the next one.

Usually right, but once I went left and it didn't feel right. I usually go to Buzz first, especially if I have a Space FP, and then I go to people mover before that actually gets a line (I miss the days when it never had a line). I usually work my way around the park from there, it's how I usually pick my FP and plan my meals, it just feels right and I'm a creature of habit so I'll stick with it.

Fastpasses aside we always go right. A WDW trip doesn't start until you visit MK and an MK visit doesn't start until you ride Space Mountain.

That said, things have changed a bit in the last few years with that rush to Seven Dwarfs if you don't have a FastPass.

We tend to head straight and then left. Next trip we will head right to hit Space Mountain as my youngests first 'big' ride and then wrap around to meet Ariel and eat at BOG.

We head left at rope drop. I make our FPs for Space, 7DMT, and PP beginning at 10:30 (but we don't use that first one until at least 11:00). By heading left we can do BTMRR, Splash (sometimes we do both of those twice), HM, IASW, and usually one or two other things before using that first FP at about 11:00.
