MK : Left or Right

Left because it’s pretty easy to get either multiple rides on BTMR and Splash or ride each of them once and then get JC or PotC with short waits at RD.

Yup, what she said, and then I tailor my FP+ selections around this plan. So, my first FP+ will either be from 9:30 to 10:30, or from 10:00 - 11:00, and it will be for either Pirates, or Jungle Cruise. My next one will probably be Haunted Mansion, and the third will be something in Fantasyland (like 7DMT) or in Tomorrowland, like Buzz, or the speedway. I will fit other rides / attractions in as I can, often seeing the Tiki Birds, or Country Bears, and probably working in Small Worlds, and perhaps Journey of the Little Mermaid as I work my way around to the FP+ locations. I always start looking for my 4th FP+ as soon as I tap in for the third one as well. Between making good use of FP+, and taking advantage of attractions that typically have short standby lines, it is possible to get quite a few rides in.

Interesting.....this question several years back the Left was the clear winner....

we now have an even fight!

So when I was doing my YES internship we started by heading to Splash first and BTM. Since I was trained that way I'd probably go that way on my own. It may have been the tour I was giving but the order played a part because we knew we had to be at different rides at different times. Our trainers knew which rides were harder to make and worked that into our tours.

Well, sadly, we always RD, so SDMT is the plan....we usually open up MDE and check times, I think its an even split between if we head towards Peter Pan and Frontierland (usually Haunted Mansion on the way?) or Buzz and Space Mountain....

In Disneyland last time, it was right IMMEDIATELY.....I don't even think I thought about which way I was to go next....

The last time I was in MK after arriving on ME around 10am, I just wandered towards Liberty Square....

We almost always head right. Start at Buzz or Spade Mountain. Last year we headed straight for Fantasyland and then tomorrowland.
I don’t think we have even started a trip going left ever. I tend to try to get splash and thunder mountain as our fast passes.

The vast majority of the time, it’s left. Splash Mountain is what I want to see most when I arrive... after Cinderella’s castle, of course.

Left, always left! - FP for 7D, Space, and Buzz, so start with JC, Pirates, Splash, & BTM.

We have always headed left for no discernible reason. So we make a concerted effort to head right now. Not that it really matters. 🙂

Usually at least two mornings during the trip, one morning to Fantasyland (so right but not a hard right), one morning left. It just depends on our overall strategy for the day, though. If we take a break and come back later we tend to go towards Tomorrowland.

Magic Kingdom is at minimum a 2 day park. You should be splitting the left and right for completely separate days.

FP+ Right: Space, 7 Dwarves, Pooh
FP+ Left: Splash, Mansion, Pirates/Jungle Cruise

We always go to MK more than one day...so the 1st day we go left to Adventureland and the next day we go to FL

If I had to choose though I would go left... just bc I get so much done in AL

Left, I find going on Jungle Cruise at either WDW or DL just sets me up for a great day.

We always go left or straight to Fantasyland. We have always just done it that way. One of our MK morning we will go right this year!

We tend to go to the MK more than once, so on our first morning we go straight and then right at the hub. The next time we go it is generally later in the day so we start to the left and hit those attractions.

We always go multiple days, so, left the first day, right the next.
Splash and BTMRR are 2 of our favorite rides. Then we hit HM and PotC. This is a great way to start the day. We typically have our first FP+ around this time, and we will usually do something in Fantasyland.

The next day, it is Space Mountain, then Buzz, and the rest of Fantasyland.
