MK hub last night pic.

Hub looks great but why is the crane still there? I been before in Feb and Mar past years and the crane was gone. It shouldn't take this long to remove lights.

I've read that it's turf, no reason to keep people off it and unless they fence it, they couldn't. I think it's wonderful to have an open place you can sit that's not concrete. From the pictures I've seen during fireworks, people are sitting to view and with the angles, their views aren't really blocked by others outside the ares. I also like what seems to be a great many ledges around the fences outside the fp+ viewing areas that would appear to have space to sit.

Could be other maintenance such as painting, etc.

Lovely! This is making me want to get a FP for wishes now! Thank you for posting pictures!

Seems like folks did just sit there, so that might be nice.

I had seen pics and people were sitting- I hope the trend continues! Doesn't look like your view is blocked at all by sitting and it's just so much nicer than standing and putting kids on your shoulders!

Yea I wasn't sure, but went back tonight and stood back there-it seems like a pretty good use of a FP+ if your tired or have little ones. Although as noted early-you could rest there earlier and let the kids crawl around.

The front area by Walt was still closed, but the crowd was still pretty big for a slow season day-however it was very easy to get around the area with no problem compared to the past.

As big as the area has gotten-it seems like it will still be very full at XMAS-but it was just insane so it will be a big improvement.

its nice to see it more open and hopefully it might help to even out the crowds. it will be nice to sit on the grass for a while and just relax. its a lot better i think. but i might end up changing my opinion in the fall when i visit!

I did it last night and almost everyone stayed seated. The view for Wishes was great. The view for Celebrate the Magic was less ideal because people outside the FP viewing area stood (and had kids on their shoulders) across the walkway so we couldn't see most of the castle. I ended up staying in the FP area until the second CtM and the view was fantastic because the people were all gone.

Oh, it looks great! I can't wait to see it in person. My kids will love having the "grass" to plop down in and rest their little feet during the day when they get tired.
