MK Hub expansion

Just back from a weekend visit in conjunction with the Princess race weekend. Fun trip, but this is my first time really seeing the visual impact of the hub expansion.

I have to say it made me really sad to see the raised flower beds in the center removed. Not nearly as charming as it used to be. It kind of makes the space right in front of the castle feel like a giant parking lot. I understand this was likely done to make room for crowds, but it's so disappointing to see the aesthetic elements of the park suffer because of the ever-swelling sea of guests.

From the artist renderings of the finished Hub, the flower beds and trees are returning.
They just can't do the work without damaging the foliage, so they took it out during the
construction process.
