What should we head to first? Here is my plan so far:
9:40-10:40 Big Thunder FP (I plan to get there closer to 10:40, so we can do lunch right after)
Lunch at Pecos Bill
11:10-12:10 Pirates (plan to head here right after lunch)
4:00 ADR CRT
5:05-6:05 SDMT (will I have enough time to make it here after CRT^??, couldn't get an earlier FP)

We will arrive at RD. My daughter wants to see A&E, if we go straight there at RD will there be a crazy long line even that early? Or would we be better off waiting until after sdmt later in the evening?

I'd like to fit in Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Small World, Barnstormer and Under the Sea. If we don't head to A&E first, which should we pick?

Haven't done A&E yet but my thinking is RD will be the least crowded

You should be able to get tail end of sdmt after crt. We have done it several times but 90 mins should be ok

As far as other rides if u skip A&E I don't think there is abig difference in wait time. Maybe JC may get longest wait later. I would suggest Peter pan if not doing A&E. That will get a long line quickly

I'm a big proponent of Ridemax, especially for cases like this where you know what you want, just not sure about the order. :-)

I will talk to my daughter and see how bad she really wants to see A&E. Maybe she will be ok w/ just seeing whatever princesses are at CRT and we can head straight to Peter Pan. Thank you for the advice!

My other suggestion would be swap pirates FP for pp. This way u can do pan and A&E.

Pirates may have a little wait but pan is pretty steady 50-90 mins

50-90 minutes? Eeek!! Dreading long waits! So the wait for Pirates is normally less than PP? If so, swapping the fp for pp makes sense.

If you're not doing PP at rope drop, I'd switch POC for PP. PP is a consistently long wait- that is if you don't mind missing the new queue. We're doing PP at rope drop rather that a FP+ because we want to experience the queue.

Figure 50-60 min guarenteed no matter what time of year you go. Then it goes up from there depending on crowds

Potc never had a wait before fp+. Now it does but don't think it goes more than around 30.

Peter Pan is a FP or rope drop ride. Never see it a 30 min wait

I don't know when in April you are going, but Jungle cruise closes for refurb on April 13....right before we get there:(

I have heard recently that A&E at RD is crazy busy and you might luck out trying it later in the afternoon. I think a lot of people head straight back there at the beginning of the day.

I've heard that about people heading straight there too. Planning this trip is going to give me a nervous breakdown! Too many decisions! LOL

Don't stress out! What I did was watch the posted wait times on the Disney App a couple weeks before we left on days that crowds were going to be similar to the ones posted for our days and tracked wait times throughout the days for the "must do's" that we did not have a FP for. It really helped to get an idea of what was busy at which times of the day. It seems like A&E had a dip in wait times around 1 or 2 when we were there this past fall.

Have you had a look at the cheat sheets for each park at easywdw.com? Josh gives a list of FP priorities and advice on touring strategies to reduce both wait times and unnecessary crisscrossing the park.

I use these religiously and gave us a wonderful experience on our trip a week ago :)

Our trip starts on the 12th luckily I was able to get a FP for JC. I've also heard A&E are crazy insane at RD. If you are set on doing them at RD my suggestion would be to try and get an early am adr for Crystal palace and eat super quick and then hightail it over to where they let you in so you can be the first in line. My other suggestion is I heard around closing prolly between the parade and wishes is generally a lighter time of a wait. So if you don't want to deal with RD chaos then I would wait til about 9-9:30 and then get in line.

I haven't, but I will go check that out. Thank you. I love Josh's site, I used his crowd calender to pick my park days.
