MK Halloween Party question

We are going to the NSSHP in October. My daughter, 7, wants to dress up as a cowgirl. I thought I may dressup as well. Do adults usually dress up? If so, any ideas/tips for costume? Keeping in mind that we will be riding rides as well so don't want something that will be a pain. Maybe a cowgirl too? But that doesn't seem too Disney...

You have no idea how many adults dress up. Last year I wore a a light weight medevil gown and my husband was a pirate. Everyone commented on our outfits that we wore all day long. Have fun with it, I know we will again this year.

Yes, definitely dress up! It puts you so much more into the mood and the fun : ) Doing an abbreviated costume for yourself is easy and manageable. EX, Do a full blue mini skirt with a purple cami over a yellow puffed sleeve shirt. & a red bow. VOILA snow white. Or if you have blond hair?- go with all blue. red hair?- green and purple.

People will get the idea of who you are, and you will get the feeling of being dressed up. Add some sparkle lotion or makeup to add some disney magic : )

We went with a big group and dressed as snow white and the 7 dwarfs - it was actually pretty easy, we each had a different color t-shirt and added patches, large buttons etc. to them.

Just use something you have in your house and dress it up - get a plain white t and use fabric markers to make a quick, comfortable and cheap costume - be the cow for the cowgirl?

We haven't decided wether we are going to dress up or not. it's 2 adults here, but we are thinking of just going as ourselves

If she wants to be a cowgirl and you wanted her to be more Disney she could go as Jesse from Toy Story.

We always dress up and since I have had my son we stay in the same character family like last year he was Prince Charming and I was Snow White. He was not even a year yet so I made our costumes. This year he is going to be Mickey and me Minnie.

My Mom and Dad are always the same. You could pick another character from Toy Story like Bo Peep or something. But just an idea if you want to be more Disney.

You will be amazed at the lengths people go to for this event. UNREAL!
