Mk Grad Night ??

OUR LAST FULL DAY IN DISNEY, WE PLANNED ON GOING TO THE MK. BUT, NOW FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THAT DAY IS GRAD NIGHT AND THEY CLOSE THE PARK AT 6PM TO EVERYONE ELSE....IS THAT RIGHT?
IS MK THE ONLY PARK THAT CLOSES EARLY FOR GRAD NIGHT?

According to the Disney calendar, the park closes at 7 pm to the public on Grad nights, which I believe are 5/05 and 5/06. Epcot is open until 9 pm both those nights, with EMH on 5/05. MGM is open til 8:30 and Animal Kingdom is open until 5. Only Magic Kingdom is designated for Grad Nights. After 7 pm, only the local high school seniors are allowed in.

To check hours for the rest of your trip, they are on the disney site. Click on "calendar" and you can go to the month you will be there and check hours for each park!!

We will be avoiding MK those 2 days, I have a 13 year old and we have enough hormones in our vicinity!!! LOL

FYI - seniors come from around the country to attend Grad Night, its not just locals - I attended Grad Night in 1979 and I am from NJ!

Shhhhhhh don't tell my DD that!! When she heard about Grad Night, she was already starting to plan her trip (she is in 7th grade). She, of course, figured we would foot the bill, but send my sister with her, since she is a "cooler" chaperone.
