MK Fireworks Strategy. Every night we are there is a "special event"

Looking for a suggestion on when to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks. We are going in September for the food and wine festival for 4 days three night stay at the Beach Club Tuesday - Friday. It's only my wife and myself. At first I saw that MNSCHP was Tuesday night and Friday night so that eliminated those days for seeing the fireworks. Then Tuesday is the evening magic hours and I thought that could be a bit crowded so lets plan on Thursday night. Now I find out that Thursday is also a ticket event from 9PM-12PM, Disney after hours. So basically every one of the 4 days we are there there is some special event going on in the evening at the Magic Kingdom.

So the question is what would be better to see the fireworks, on a evening with Extra Magic Hours or a evening with Disney After Hours? Do you think more people show up for Extra Magic Hours or Disney After Hours.

We did think of going to MNSCHP but decided that was better to save for another trip when we may go for just one day.

I would imagine somewhat lower crowds on the DAH night since EMH is a known huge crowd draw.

DAH has a very limited amount of tickets sold, so there will certainly be many fewer DAH guests than EMH guests staying after the fireworks.

I’m not sure either night would be “low crowds” for fireworks since there are so few normal HEA nights.

I would choose the DAH night. That's a ticketed event with a limited number of tickets sold. Probably the majority of resort guests will choose the EMH night, since there are so few nights anyway.

It's going to be crowded no matter what you do, so pack your patience, good graces, and Disney smile and have a good time.

Everyone will have to leave on the none EMH night making waiting for the bus or if you drive getting to the TTC long. with EMH and staying on sight you could go and do a few rides and then head out just an idea

I would pick the DAH night. As mentioned, it will be crowded because of MNSSHP the other nights. We found that out last year.
The DAH night probably will be less crowded as you have to have a special tiket to be there late. However, there is likely to be a big rush to the buses, etc after fireworks as almost everyone must leave.
The EMH is free so more likely to be crowded. But you do have the option to stay, ride some rides, or see a show and then leave after the crowd leaving after fireworks has left.

I would go on After Hours, although the regular guest are allowed to stay for fireworks and then they must leave. You might just get reservations for the desert party and then you have a nice place to watch and take your time leaving to miss the large crush.

I’d also go on the DAH night. The park may actually be less crowded because people might not want to make that day their MK day if the park is closing relatively early.
