MK fireworks cruise...Did you like it??

We have done the Ill. cruise and had a good time. Please tell me your own personal experiences with the MK fireworks cruise. Where you left from, where you got to ride around, where you watched the fireworks from, how long were you out there. Thanks to any and all feedbacks!!

We LOVED it!!! We have done it two years in a row. The first year we were picked up from the Contemporary and taken all around the general area - 7 Seas Lagoon, the old Discovery Island, around Ft. Wilderness and we ended back in front of the castle about 10 minutes before the fireworks started. Incredible view!!! After the fireworks, we were taken around the GF, Poly and back to the Contemporary. Last year we left from the Poly and did pretty much the same route except that after the fireworks, the driver took us over to see Spectromagic. It was wonderful. I definitely recommend it. It was worth the money just to avoid all the crowds . We will be trying Illuminations this year.

We did a birthday/fireworks cruise for my nephew - it was a blast. There were 9 of us, not counting the driver, and we got a cake, sodas, and snacks (we shouldn't have had dinner that night!). We sang happy birthday and he blew out his candles with the fireworks - it was one of our most special times at WDW!

How much is the Mk Firework Cruise.... and how early do you need to book the cruise?

hayley-how long ago did you guys get the birthday cruise for MK fireworks and what was the cost because i really want to do this for my son this october and all info i have found only tells about the illuminations that leaves from boardwalk for 10 that cost $220---last year i remember reading about one from yacht club for eight for $120 but now cant seem to find it except for the regular cruise not b-day..any info you have would be great....thanks

I have to be honest. I thought this was only ok. You are a long way from the actual fireworks.
