I have my reservation for Aug 25- and for once I was very happy to see a charge listed online for my cc![]()
Hey, us too - see you there! No CC charge has appeared as yet, but it often takes a day or two to show up with International cards.
Had some fun and games booking it two days ago though. First no availability at 8pm (Wishes is at 9pm).
After lots of searching, CM finds a slot at 9.15pm (??). I mention that Wishes will have finished by then, so she checks with a supervisor who says it's OK to book and we should just turn up at 8pm anyway. Went through details of booking (about 20 mins into the call now), I give name, address, CC number, resort reservation number, etc. She tells me the final price, and says can she charge that? To which I agree, and wait for my confirmation number.... and 15 seconds later the line drops!!!!Rang back and another CM spent 15+ mins trying to find/retrieve the booking every way possible, but nothing.
She then decided to pass the call through to Guest Relations, and after 2 mins more waiting I suddenly get the end-of-call satisfaction survey before even speaking to anyone! Grrr...Gave up for the time being, and rang back today at 9am Eastern. Waited 10 mins for operator, but he managed to find the original booking immediately from just my name and zipcode and he gave me the confirmation number and said it had been charged fine. Oh, and it's now showing as 8:05pm on the system. I guess no one has told a la carte that this is a one-timeslot booking for 160 people, rather than using the usual staggered seating times.
seems like Disney needs to get all the CM's on the same page...
We'll need to get them into the same book first!
