And like I had said, I was able to book it on the first day of bookings (6/22 I think) for 8/29 so I wouldnt think its been "extended". It was available from the beginning.

I just had the same experience as you .. same day (8/1), but party of 4. I had called a few times today trying to get this, and finally a few minutes ago, was able to do it -- 9:05 p.m. The CM told me there's a learning curve booking this for some reason. Anyway, glad I called again a few times.
See you there -- we'll be the ones eating all of the chocolate covered strawberries.

I just called and got in for 08/01 with a party of 4. I was told to be at the podium an hour before wishes, so 9 pm no other time really given. It is a suprise for the familyWe are doing the sunrise safari the next morning so, I hope we can sleep well since we have to be up early!!!

Attended on 7/3 and, as many others have reported, it was very nice. For us it was not really about the desserts - it was more about avoiding the massive crowd for the Celebrate America fireworks. The desserts were pretty good though. We were there almost until 10:15 and the staff was practically begging us to take some more! We actually just wanted to let the "traffic" move before resuming our fun.

Some have reported that they thought the overhang would obstruct the view. Not the case unless you are standing at the buffet. Most everyone stood by the railing and had a great view.

There was a somewhat "angry" individual who was really giving a CM a hard time as apparently she was accustomed to viewing the fireworks from this location and the event was sold-out.

I've tried again...all sold out for 8/24 through 8/26. Maybe I'll try closer to the date -- maybe their holding seats.

We were also there on the 3rd...We saw that same woman giving a CM a very hard time...

Anyway, we loved it...Thought it was worth every penny...The kids really liked having some yummy treats before the fireworks...DH and I loved not fighting the crowds....We had a PERFECT view of the fireworks...Not obstructed from where we were at all...The chocolate covered strawberries were wonderful!

I have been calling every week and cannot get in on ANY date, and when I inquired about the 29th the CS said only available through the 28th. I hate to badger them, but how in the world are people booking the 29th if they are not even offering it on the 29th?

If we cannot get in with a rezzie, I might try to call the week we are due to arrive, and also walk up to the podium the nights we are at MK. Your opinion, what time should we walk up to ask about an opening? In the a.m. or as we get closer to the actual buffet time? Thanks!

When I called yesterday, the CM told me it was sold out for ALL nights. I asked him to check my dates anyway, which were sold out. He said to keep checking because people do cancel.

I didn't go through all the posts so I am sorry if anyone has already said this. Has anyone gone and if so how was it. You July 3rd people, any reviews, good, bad or ugly?? I am still on the fence. It is a lot of $$ for dessert and I can certainly do without!!!

If someone could check and report back, that'd be great.

Phew, that's what I got too. (But I think my number is different). Good. Glad I'm not the only one!
