MK/Fantasyland “Early Morning Magic” (EMM) (Thread Now Closed, See New MK EMM FAQ Thread)

Any word on EMM for 10/30? ADR day is coming up in a few days and curious if that day would be an option or if we'll need to go with 10/28. Thanks!

Came here to ask the same thing - hoping to pull off the Marathon MK day on 10/30 with EMM, all day MK, and MNSSHP with a gaggle of children in tow.

Good luck with that. I once did EMM, full MK day, and MVMCP that night. I forget how many miles I logged, but it was a lot. DW took DD then 2 back for a nap mid-day, but DS and I trucked on. A very expensive, exhausting, and awesome day!

Luckily we're staying at the Contemporary so a quick walk for a mid-day nap and costume change will definitely be in order!

DS21 and I doing our second EMM (did last year too) on August 7. Last year we did the KTTK tour right after so didn't plan FPs and rides right after. Should we head towards HM, BTMRR, Splash and then do FPs for other rides. Is it realistic to do at least those 3 without much wait or FP? We walk at fast pace without plowing into people!

Can anyone tell me if there is likely to be EMM in December? Specifically the 9th to the 17th or 28th to 30th.

Have there ever been EMM on those weeks in the past?

@MagicalAdventures On the first page of the post it links to the previous dates. In 2016 there were 3 dates in early December. Last year there was none.

Just checked, 10/30 will have EMM.

Just checked a +10 window.... Tuesday 10/30 and Sunday 11/4 look to be EMM dates.

Interesting to see EMM in November after having none in 2017. The consistent inconsistency of EMM offered dates continues!

We did the BTMR, Splash, HM gauntlet once. We walk fast and booked it straight to BTMR as soon as they would let us past Fantasyland. We made it, but definitely were walking into breakfast a little too uncomfortably close to 10AM. Splash is a time eater.

We are not planning to ride splash. Do you think we would have plenty of time to do btmr and haunted mansion and make it in time for breakfast?

If we do EMM, I'm thinking that at a little before 9 a.m., we'll grab pastries to tide us over and ride HM, Ariel, and Small World, and then have a big breakfast. We'd have FP for BTMRR, Splash, and Buzz, hopefully starting with a 10-11 a.m. window on Buzz. (We are not riding Space.) Does that plan sound manageable? Will we easily have time for those rides and a good breakfast before they shut down the food? We'd be paying $$$ to reduce our stress, so I don't want to feel pressured and I want to make sure we have a good meal to keep going a few more hours.

Yep - unless you really take your time there and back or run into any opening delays at BTMR, it’s totally doable. This is generally our prefered strategy these days.

Very interesting! Hoping as well that EMM dates are not the same as last year! We went in 2016 the week after Thanksgiving and keeping my fingers crossed that they bring back those dates! I know there were not dates for that week last year. So keeping fingers crossed! One of the best experiences and money spent at Disney. I will check back in a few weeks to see if our dates have showed up! I'm not sure how to see past the 180 days. I have about a month or so until making dining reservations.

I think this will be my strategy for EMM on May 20th. Really looking forward to this.
