MK evening EMH

So, who has gone to an EMH at the MK in the evenings? What time of year have you done it? How were the crowds??

We are leaving in 12 days and I have the EMH planned for one evening - it is from 8pm til 11pm. Obviously, January is supposed to be a time with less crowds but will EMH be crazy? MK closes at 8pm most of the nights so does everyone jump on the longer hours?

Any experience with this lately? Anyone hit the EMH evenings at MK during a "slow time"?? I would love to hear what you thought about it. Thanks

I will be there the 21st - 28th. In past trips, MK EMH we not too bad at all. the first hour seemed crowded, but it all quickly thinned out.

The crowds were really light when we went to MK EMH last April. Have fun!

I was just there and went to the Magic Kingdom EMH from 8 to 11 last Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. I was able to walk on most rides and the ones that did have lines were no longer than 10 minutes and that only applied to Space Mountain.

We went Christmas Week when the park closed at 12 or 1 am. EMH was great. We did notice the line for Space Mtn. was STILL 40 minutes long at 2 am, but even that was much better than earlier in the day when it was 120 min. If I had another trip to plan w/the super late hours, we'd do EMH night every time. I'm not so sure about on nights when the park closes at 8...lots more people can stay up til 11 pm than 3 am!

We did the MK EMH in December. THe wait times weren't bad at all and we were able to do a lot that night. The crowds were very managable. It was definitely worth our time to go.

I did the EMH on New Year's Day. The park was opened til 3 am! It was great. There was hardly any lines, especially in the last 2 hours. I was able to walk onto any rides I wanted. I think the EMH is good during the slower seasons. I don't think I'd go during the summer or during really busy times.

I did it during christmas week, I forget the exact date but the park was open until 1 and then with EMH it was open until 4 am. there was absolutly no one in the park. Of course there were people but there was no one compared to the day crowds. I walked right onto Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan and Space Mountain twice. In all my years of going there I've never seen Space Mountain so empty.
